IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format:
Oberst Jenkins Altmannberg: 91 year old Deputy Chief of the Reserve Army. He’s an old man with a loud mouth, and often shouts nonsense or random statements. Could possibly have Alzheimer's
Has fought in many wars, such as the following…
-Franco Prussian War 1870-1871
-Nauruan Civil War 1879-1881
-First Samoan Civil War 1886-1888
-Bafut Wars 1891-1892
-Boxer Rebellion 1900
-Adamawa Wars 1905-1906
-Maji Maji Rebellion 1907
-Sokehs Rebellion 1910-1911
-World War I 1914-1918
Jenkins has other titles, such as:
Diensleiter in the Labor Service
Marshall of the Duchy of Aquitaine
A lot of people know this character because of my iconic old man voice that I never drop. I’ll do it for hours and people always ask me “Does that hurt your throat? How do you keep doing that?” The answer is simple. For the love of the larp. Also, old man rp is the only rp I actually enjoy anymore.
Obergrenadier Dean Edward Schnitzlenpeen: Man in the Panzers who illegally transferred from the Kaisergadre and previously attempted to assassinate the War Marshall, but failed and was somehow found innocent in trial.
Grenadier Jenkins Vanlooper: 95 year old Grenadier in the Kaisergarde. Has his certification in CBT (Combat Ballistics Training)
Gehilfe Schmidty Heinzbach: A travelling homeless handyman who was recruited into the Ministry of procurements. His description would be as follows.
“Ministry of Procurements | Industrielleswerk Sachsen-Coburg | Travelling homeless handyman l Smells fucking terrible from working in the sun all day l Greasy and disgusting l Will do almost anything for money” lmao
Jenkins von Berlin: An old man civilian who may or may not do illegal activities.
Gefreiter Ahmed Ra Al-Baghdadi: A ☪ muslim ☪ soldier in the Kaisergarde. He is mixed race and can be seen having islamic prayer with the fellow muslim soldiers.
Eric Carter: a man with a skull-engraved Bronze ring on his left finger. Enough said.
Polizeianwärter Chao Fah Chatchai: An immigrant from Thailand(Siam) who joined the local police force. He speaks with a thai (or asian) accent and often mixes in thai words with his broken German.
Chris Gator: Berlin’s local drug addict. He would be pale with “zombie-like” features. Chris Gator would often be seen breaking into government offices and buildings to set up a homeless camp so he can sleep for the night.
Schmidt Funks: A plumber in Berlin. Can be seen digging holes or unclogging shit from toilets. Would smell terrible and be seen covered in a sticky brown substance.
Willow Peace: A local hippie. Like… spread the love and stuff, man. Often drugged out of his mind.
Klaus Eichmann: Retired Reichsminister (not just minister). I lost this character a while ago when the characters reset, so I remade it, even though he’s still just a civilian. Klaus Eichmann was my main character for years when I was an actual edgy larper, now it’s just kind of an ornament of an era for me.
If you know Klaus Eichmann for his extermination of bald people (119 pk’s), you qualify for a veteran’s discount. Great times.

How long have you been roleplaying?:
I’ve been roleplaying for a long ass time. I used to play a lot of Slave RP and Revolutionary War RP, then I moved onto Typhon then Prometheus. My earliest gmod achievements are in early 2016, so I guess 10 years? Which is wild considering I'm 22, so 10 years ago I was a 12 year old Gmod larpering. Thank god I didn’t get groomed!
Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?:
Not for a long time. I can’t see my notes, but they’re usually for goofy stuff.
Staff Knowledge Section
What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?
-I’ve been a mod/admin on a couple no-name gmod servers, usually Darkrp.
-I was the Head Admin (third highest staff member) on Goliad Gaming Revolutionary War RP. I did that for a while, got perma-banned, came back, and became a regular admin for a while until I retired from the gamemode and the server died. I spent roughly 2 or so years on Goliad Gaming. I even banned Zuthar13.
-Admin on Typhon Networks for a while. I achieved the staff ticket record at the time by taking 1,119 tickets in a single week.
-Admin on Prometheus twice. During my last go as an Admin on Typhon, I had an issue with a couple players consistently (looking at you Saito) as HR manager Slug will have in his notes. I have matured a lot since then, and will continue to improve. Back when I was chronically online, I wasn’t the most mentally stable, so I held grudges. Oh, and I was an Admin at the same time Virus was. So if I stuck with being a staff, I imagine I’d be UA by now.
Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:
Now, I'm not going to waltz into here and say cringe stuff like “Yeah bro, like, all the minges are going to be banned and stuff bro… yeah”. I’m not a miracle solution to whatever problem the community is facing, I'm just a guy who’d like to help out a little. Nothing against the current staff, but the server has a problem of getting tickets taken during peak hours. Let me explain...
Most staff have important RP jobs, so when it's height hours, tickets don't get taken. My job as Deputy Chief of the Reserve Army really isn't too important when all is said and done. The server will go on without me. It's important that we get more lesser-known larpers in staff positions, they'll actually be able to spare the time. I don't even like political RP anymore since i've done it for so many years. I just enjoy being an old man and shooting people in civil wars. (Yes, that is me in the bottom left. I'm a WWII reenactor. Old Man Jenkins is a real person!)
I’ve played this game mode a lot over the years. I know how all the factions work, and can understand how they interlock together in terms of alliances and politics. Sure, most of my time was in the “Windmill of Friendship” era of the community, so I'm still learning what the factions are. But to make it simple, I'll give you a pros and cons list for me.
PROS:
-Patient. I have pretty good control over my temper and am often pretty good at cooling situations. Well, at least I try.
-Well known. Everyone knows Old Man Jenkins. You can hate him or love him, but you have to admit you’ve heard of him! Not too many people remember me from back when I was staff, and even less people remember me from my *shutter* Femboy era when I went under the name of “Duke Von Baron”. I rebranded to “Drill Sergeant” for a while, then rebranded again to General Blue, where I hope to stay. Ultimately, the few people who remember me from before will probably say I'm a good guy and advocate for me.
-I don't use that stupid fucking admin stick. The stick sucks, and I constantly see new staff completely clueless when trying to use it and find the correct models in it. I prefer to use the commands the way that trusted use them, with typing the commands. /charsetmodel @ (string), /charsetname @, and /charsetfaction @ (code) are the commands I prefer to use. Also prefer to do !ban (steamid) 10d (reason). I also had !grabid @ and !freeze @ keybinded. So if I get accepted, i'll rebind them. I'm sure it doesn't sound as efficient to other staff members, but it works for me. It pains me to see staff member switch to their staff chars to set up a recruit, rather than just using these simple commands. I learned all of this stuff when I was trusted, and still used it when I was staff.
-Been trusted for years when that was still around.
-Transparency. Something I often would do that the community would appreciate is me going into ooc during high ticket hours and saying something similar to "Hey guys, just me and (blank) taking tickets right now, sorry for the wait! Please be patient." And a lot of people really vibed well with that. People would go from upset in ooc to thanking us and waiting patiently. People don't mind waiting a bit, but they often get upset when they have no idea if their ticket will even be taken.
-Old Man Jenkins. N'uff said.
CONS:
-I'm a full time student, full time college student(Wanting to achieve my Doctorates), war reenactor, and married man. I don't have nearly as much time as I used to have. I'm not promising to get a shit ton of tickets every week, i'll probably just get on and do tickets for an hour or so per night. My wife is Asian, and she'll beat me with a flip flop if I spend too much time playing video games. Either way I don't think I should have a problem missing my quotas, but I just want everyone to have a fair and real expectation of the amount of time I can provide. Prometheus is an after-work pleasure/luxury, not my entire life.
-I have a tendency to bend the rules every-so-slightly to do what I think is justified. For example, an Enlisted soldier was RDM'd by a minge. I handled the situation, and was sending him back. He asked if I could give him money or a gun. Not sure if it's still the same rule, but at the time, staff weren't permitted to reimburse people for rdm. I told him this, and he told me he was completely broke. I checked him with the staff gun, and saw he had 57 marks to his name. I decided to break the rules and gave him a pistol and told him to get more funds from his Officer. He really appreciated it, and went on with his business. I'm a double edged sword. On one end, i'm independent and can think critically, so I don't need UA to hold my hand and constantly bug them about questions or issues. On the other hand, I could handle a situation in a way that UA might not like. I feel like I have pretty sound judgement, and I look forward to showing UA that I am able to be trusted with my decision making.
What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:
Staff keep the server running essentially. Stuck in a wall? Retard named Chao Vin Bing runs you over with a car and kills you? Lose your expensive gun in a war game? All of that and more involves staff handling the situation. Staff are pillars of the community, and are representatives of the brand. What am I kidding! Staff are wage slaves without wage lol.
For real though, It's simple. Get on, handle people's problems, and don't make the community look bad. If a new player sees a staff member going around shouting slurs, they'll think that the entire server does the same thing, which is a fair assumption to make. Staff should try to be at least semi-professional, or else they make themselves and everyone else on the server look like idiots. Staff also have a duty to take tickets during peak hours. You can't have all of the power and not use it. I would always get bothered over having 13 staff members on the server and not a single person taking tickets.
There's honestly not much to say, it's a pretty simple and self-explanatory job. You take tickets.
