He used to be the CdRK, Chief of GFP and Chief of SS-Courts among other things. Currently he is the Finance Minister. He manages the Finances of the Government and conducts meetings and audits. How long have you been roleplaying?: At least for 6 years now, started off with FiveM originally. Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: I have no notes and a 1-day RDM ban, that I didn't agree with but wasn't worth appealing due to it being only one day long. ------------------------------------------------------------------ What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?: Yes, I used to be a Moderator on Prometheus, roughly a year ago and more recently, about 8 months ago I resigned both times due to me having to focus on real life goals. I also used to be staff on Werwolfgaming SCP RP. I was an Event Planner briefly, then Event Manager before getting switched to Moderator. I resigned and left the Community altogether shortly after. As an Event Planner, I was planning and executing events that happened on the Server. The Manager position was similar, just with super admin. I also was staff on a German FiveM Community, before ending up buying the community (lol). Development was a lot harder than I thought after a dev left, so I gave the server up to another member. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: Due to my geographical location in Switzerland, I would be an addition to the “European Staff Team”. Staff coverage can sometimes be rather tight around the times I am online. I believe that I have the capabilities to stay calm in stressful scenarios. I have always considered myself a rather neutral person, especially when it comes to making opinions/decisions. Striving to take the best out of both sides so I can improve myself is something I do often, I also believe that I am capable and trustworthy enough to be entrusted with a position of power. I see myself as experienced enough to have a shot with Moderator. I think that I am decently known within the current playing community, at least enough to ring a bell. I can dedicate a lot of my time to the server and would certainly be a rather active server staff member. Although I don’t just have my pros to tell, I can be sometimes rather fast to speak, resulting in me stuttering or not being properly understandable under stressful situations, which I am actively working on. Critique and feedback is something I really appreciate, I am more than willing to adapt myself to the situations I am needed in and from the times I was Staff, I have really started to enjoy taking sits of players and assisting them in their problems. As for a closing statement as to why I believe I should be picked over others, I’m someone that’s always attempting to form my own opinion with a neutral stance, I always listen to what all sides have to say in an argument and am just generally a very adaptable, a jack of all trades if I might say so. I would also be interested in eventually joining the Event Staff due to my history in leading events and my experience in RP in general. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: The staff’s job is to handle situations where two players conflict each other and the immersion of roleplay is broken. Staff is to assist the players wherever logically possible. (i.e. Player not knowing commands). The Staff on a Roleplay server are crucial for Rule enforcement, as when rules aren’t being enforced, they will be broken, resulting in a massive drop in the quality of roleplay since rules exist for a reason. The staff’s job is to always stay neutral, no matter the circumstance. As a staff, you have to interpret the rules correctly and follow them yourself to set an example, because Staff is always seen as an example, even if the Staff member was just recently appointed. It is crucial for members of the Staff team to know that they must tolerate everything that goes against them. Of course, if it goes against server rules, it is their job to punish the player. But simple banter in OOC Chat, criticism or anything else shouldn’t be responded to in a toxic way, as it’s unprofessional in my personal opinion. As a staff member, you are also not allowed to hold grudges over someone in a sit over something that happened in RP or outside of the server. If you don’t believe you can handle it fairly and neutrally, it’s best to just pass it along to another staff member.

i had an opinion i wasnt screaming i wasnt being rude i just stated my opinion calmly i understand it wasnt the time or place gary however ive never seen someone get banned for saying they are not cool with the circumstance of their pk furthermore you seem to just generally dislike me as the decision to ban me was made in under a minute and you wouldn't let me explain myself i have no beef with anyone or any faction either my main char died so i started playing on my other char which angered you and im sorry for that i was under the impression if i roleplay as a char after i was pked and dont use any opinions knowledge or situational understanding from my past char that i would be in the clear

Denied. You shot guards and armed a bunch of prisoners before exiting a room, I don't believe anything suspicious happened regarding this situation. Of course besides you having an "informant" character that you care about character building that has existed as a grenadier for 2 months, and of course having a lapo and NSB character. VERY ODD.

I can find that as a possibility, my only suspicious as I said was I was around military and military command the entire time leading up to the prior staff sit. This leads me to believe the person that made the ticket simply pointed me out after he was returned. Also could be understood from my side, but I would have preferred the form of roleplay than just sitting in the cells for a while, then getting blindfold dragged into a room and shot.

I played my other character for "lapograd" and for late night only. I don't actively use that character for roleplay like I am trying to with Dirk Bargin. In that sense though yes I do have a lapo character and I was an informant. Spiral already spoke to me about a conflict of interest and I received an ingame warning prior to this appeal.

While I cannot speak on exactly how the individuals knew, I can probably assume it was through the witnesses in the court room. Also, my unwillingness to take you to court over shooting my men is a rather weak argument. Further, this is not what the “last resort” defense is to be used for. Virus has clarified this better than I can in prior PK appeals.

So you were an informant for the organization that you had a character in and actively played on?

I wasn't involved in any documentation, I always assumed that was simply lapo sided as they did take my name. I did make check ups though and followed through with actual informant work.

Is there an Informant agreement document with the lapo?

I'm sure you were told, and I totally believe you. I'm not arguing the fact you knew who I was. I'm arguing the fact of how the people found out who I was (still branching off the fact that I was not questioned at all nor anybody trying to arrest me UNTIL I was in a staff sit with one of the people I killed) and the fact that we could have had a court trial, or literally any roleplay leading up to the PK.

The switching characters was somebody else. Sounded very similar, apologies. Regardless, the rest stands true in relation to the PK itself. You were the last to leave the back office of a packed courtroom. I was told by 5+ people, several military officers and NCOs of both your name, ranks, and department.

I already explain in my appeal my RP reason for doing so. I was approached in game with an opportunity to be an informant, lapo already had a conflict going on with a faction that I didn't like OCly, so I took advantage. Yeah because I wasn't questioned and nobody showed suspicion to me being there, so hiding would have only sealed my fate and brought an immense wave of suspicion to myself. I don't defect on every military character I make. This is quite literally the first character that I have played traitor on. It is also ridiculous that you think wanting to roleplay is a veil to hide behind. Kinda sad to see that NHC would rather people be mindless brain zombies than try something cool that brings a new light to a repeating situation. Literally never happened. Completely false as I switched characters immediately, went AFK, and left the server !

Hello, I ordered your death. I was told by plenty that it was you who released the LAPO, despite having no RP reason to do so (kinda suspicious, prob metagame!). You were walking the halls of the very building you released them from and got discovered, arrested, and brought to me. Probably should’ve hid! But, you didn’t, and died as a result of you pushing your luck. I’m curious as to why you feel the need to defect on every military character you make, oddly having loyalty to specific people across the aisle, hiding behind the veil of “building character and fun roleplay,” while ruining others’ for such nonsensical reasons. I’ll leave that to another type of thread! Silly!

Multiple other people were in the courtroom when I exited it. I was even blending in when everyone was running up the staircase. So obvious but nobody stops me, questions me, or arrests me when I leave???

First you claim a member of staff pk'd you because he has a member in the military, then claimed staff didn't like you because you tried to insert yourself into the same situation on another character of the opposing faction. Break is needed!

I broke lapo out when they were all tied. Why should you be un-PK'd?: They did not follow through with last resort, even once they had me captured, they left me in a cell for a long period of time and then just dragged me into a room and killed me. Not a single attempt to question me, to gather evidence, or to trial me. I would have been perfectly capable to do any form of roleplay for any length of time. Also possibly metagame, the military only seek-ed me out and knew my name after an officer brought me into a staff sit for RDM. Before the sit I was around my CO's, around 3rd company, around all kinds of different military without a problem. Nobody questioned me or even looked at me funny. Additional Information: My character was a lapo informant. I was on lapo's side from the start, finding myself supporting them only in a different uniform. This comes from my character's hatred of the mountaineers, finding them to be annoying and entitled. I took today's conflict as an opportunity for my character to have some character building and fun roleplay. I spent the entire time the lapo were in the cell plotting and planting weapons in the inventory of the lapo. Although interrupted multiple times, I found a perfect opportunity after the lapo were moved into the back room of the court house. Only one guard stood at the doorway, and only two in the office. I made my move. I pretended to accidently untie one of the officers with a gun, point my weapon at him. I then swayed my aim at the other guards, ending their lives quickly. I defended the room, killing the few who dared enter. After the room was clear, I simply ran out, telling people who passed " their all dead !!" I made an escape and was caught only when I walked up to a major of the feld and asked for the unified radio freq.

DENIED. This PK was properly approved under the guidelines and material presented. With the point of appeal you mentioned of -last resort- They did attempt to take alternate routes to have this matter resolved however, those other options were not taken by the relevant parties. i.e Interior Minister, Chief of the Police Courts, and the Chief of the State Police. Additionally, last resort is not an exclusive route for court or going through every single door. The efforts were made, and they were ignored. As such the last option i.e last resort was to have you PK'd.

Hi, Thanks for making this appeal. The reason for the PK was FEAR RP. They had you surrounded 4 to 1 with guns on you ordering you to stop moving and vocalizing their intention to detain you and instead of complying you attempted to walk off/run away showing lack of fear for the state that you had found yourself in (being surrounded with guns drawn on you). For further confirmation on this PK, I reached out to Head Admin UA member Layhee, explained the situation, showed him the clip and he gave another layer of approval that the PK was valid, I then moved forward with processing the PK. Why should you be un-PK'd?: The PK wasn't a Last resort as their where many other ways they could have gotten revenge/gotten rid of me without resorting to PKing me. At no point did they try to go through any other courts such as the MOJ, they never attempted to my knowledge to get a arrest warrant from the justice mister or MOJ they only attempted the police courts witch are very understaffed and extremely inactive so a trial most of the time wouldn't have been possible. So they naturally would have had to go through the MOJ to begin with. From the beginning of this whole situation I was fully willing to go to trial. In fact when I was arrested by the Feldjagers around a week ago when the whole situation began, I asked to go to trial through MOJ or police courts because I wanted to face what I was being accused of, but instead they were too busy trying to make my character an informant and attempting to get me to sign documents incriminating my self. Witch gave enough time for the NSB to find out and PCO me. I don't think my character should have been pk'd for something that was entirely out of my control. The failure to do the trial and dodging the trial causing my death mainly lies with MOI command. I made it clear to my command and anyone who asked that I was very willing to go and face a trial and I asked the Interior minister and Police courts multiple times when my trial would be, or even if it was going to happen but I never got a clear response. Additional Information: thanks to prime for clearing up why I was pk'd. I know this will probably be denied but theirs no reason not to try.
