If so, what were they for, and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: I have received bans and notes, mostly for RDM. I was new to roleplay when I first started playing Prometheus. I could have prevented these actions if I had read the server rules when I first joined, along with remaining in character and not acting on OOC emotions. Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience do you have as a staff member, either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? I do not have any staff experience in Garry’s Mod, but I have worked on a small Halo RP project that used the Nutscript Framework and the Sam admin system. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I can accept constructive criticism well, and I'm constantly looking for methods to get better. My goal in applying for the staff team is to support the community by helping to efficiently manage tickets so that uninterrupted roleplay experiences can be offered. Because I am committed and have knowledge of the Nutscript framework, I believe I would be a fantastic addition to the team. These attributes, in my opinion, would be a welcome addition to the staff team overall as well as helpful to the community. I've read the rules and am usually familiar with them. When necessary, I am more than happy to enforce the rules—not just to punish players, but also to educate them and keep them generally aware of the rules. If necessary, I would also be willing to explain and provide context for each rule. Instead of prohibiting speed runs whenever new players join the server, I would like to educate them about the structure and operation of the server and encourage them to at least attempt roleplaying. In addition, I am a very forgiving person who considers all relevant information before applying a punishment. If I see an opportunity for someone to learn from their mistakes, I want to make sure they receive the least amount of punishment feasible before banning or noting them. I demonstrated all of them by not getting any bans or infractions throughout the previous few weeks and months. In conclusion, I believe that my contribution to the staff team will only benefit the team and the community. I will try my hardest in this position and make sure that I am a good staff member. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: In my opinion, staff should be accountable for a diverse range of tasks. One of their primary responsibilities is to ensure that the server remains in a state of order, which they accomplish by providing warnings and punishing individuals who fail to abide by the rules. However, they are also responsible for ensuring that the roleplay is enjoyable and devoid of any unnecessary out-of-character concerns. In order to accomplish this, it is necessary to avoid making errors when enforcing the rules, such as banning the wrong person or banning someone without adequate evidence. In order to guarantee that the server is always manned and that even the most insignificant problems are fixed, it is the responsibility of a member of the staff to take tickets in order to ensure that everyone has a great experience while playing on the server. My belief is that the staff's responsibility is to deal with players who break the rules, to provide assistance to people when they require it, and most importantly, to ensure that the server is always fun and engaging. Description of the idea: Instead of /doorkick simply freezing you for a second or two and then opening the door, add a sound effect of someone kicking in a door, along with automatically posting a "/me kicks the door down" message when the door opens. Why should this be added?: During roleplay, many people will lie and claim they did not kick in the door. If we can hear the door being kicked in and see the player kick it down in real time via their /me, it would create better roleplay. Players would have to think before mindlessly kicking in a door to get where they want. What negatives could this have?: I don’t see any real downsides to this suggestion, aside from increased accountability when kicking in a door. Additional information: I think door-kicking has been a major problem for a long time. At this point, I believe higher-quality roleplay could be achieved if this change were implemented.

Hi, I was the one who killed Lukas Eisenhart in roleplay. I was informed of his intentions to use dirt against me and trial me for breaking a crown mandate by a Gericht member. I was handed a signed witness statement from Lukas Eisenhart in which he in full detail explained how I violated the Crown Mandate, and stated that he wanted to take "legal action" against me. This was not just a statement but also had evidence of me breaking it via multiple images. The crimes he intended to charge me with, could have possibly gotten me the death penalty, and there were even clear pictures of me that he took. With this in mind, I knew I had to sort this out to protect the life of my character. Later that day, I had Lukas in my office, and he began talking about how he was going to try me for breaking a crown mandate. Even while Donzoko was overwatching the situation, I asked him if there was anything we could do to make this go away. He said there was nothing that would change his mind, so I told him, “Fine, then I'm just going to kill you”. I tried to give him one last option out, which he denied, at this point it was completely last resort. I then pulled out my gun and shot him. Even after the fact, in OOC, I asked Donzoko if I had done everything right, and he said it was a valid PK.

This is absolutely unacceptable!! This truly ruins my immersion and I don't know if I can continue RP as a LAPO member until this is fixed.
