If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: I have no bans or notes Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?: I do not have any extensive experience as a staff member of Garry's Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I have played on Prometheus Networks for around four to five years. During that time, I have served as everything from a faction leader down to an enlisted man. I know the inner workings of the server, the people who play on it, and what they need from me as a member of the staff team. As a member of the staff team, I would strive to be as unbiased as a human can be. I may not like some of the characters on the server, but as a staff member, my personal thoughts should not influence my actions. It does not matter whether the person is my boss or my in character enemy I will treat everyone equally, giving no preferential treatment or undue hardship. While I do not yet have experience as a staff member or with using staff tools, I am fully open to learning them. One of my main goals is to keep my staff duties fair but firm. My goal is to help those who break the rules learn from their mistakes, not simply ban them and move on. I want to improve the server through my work as a staff member, not punish people for the smallest things. I have wanted to be part of the staff team for some time. I almost applied for Trusted back when that was a thing, but I was too busy to do so. Now, more than ever, I’ve realized that the server needs more staff during the later hours of the day. Elite finally convinced me to apply so I can help during those times when other staff are either AFK , not online or are unable to take tickets. My main goal is to improve the overall quality of the server through my work as a staff member. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: In my own words the duties and responsibilities of a staff member are to handle regular tickets, assist with changing uniforms and ranks, and most importantly of all enforce the server’s rules. Staff members must remain unbiased toward everyone, regardless of faction or personal relationships. It is our job to ensure the rules are enforced fairly, but not too harshly. A genuinely good person’s first day on the server shouldn’t result in them being banned or kicked for small mistakes. We’ve all made errors and broken some rules. No one is perfect. However, those who repeatedly make mistakes and break the rules should be dealt with more strictly. Messing up once is a mistake, doing it again becomes a pattern. In general, our job as staff is to ensure the server runs smoothly, improve the average player’s experience, and remove those who cause ongoing issues for both players and staff alike.
