Generalleutnant Jürgen Schmidt - I am the Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres. I am third in command in the military. I am in charge of all the men of the RA, Mountaineer division, & Feldjagers. I am also in charge of the men on the front. I ensure that the command of the military which as general of the RA, General of the Mountaineers, and the Feld general are doing there jobs as well as there command staff are doing there jobs correctly.everyday activities I am making sure the men are our recruiting as well has having there men doing things like certification trainings as well as ensuring we are properly trained for the war effort.Directing the German Army on the Eastern Front. While the OKW commanded other theaters as well as I will assist where I am needed on the fronts.

I was a member of the staff team for Gaminglight Imperial RP for ~2.5 years, and was a senior game master as well.
Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:
I believe if I were to be picked to become a staff member for this community, I would certainly be a strong asset for Prometheus's staff due to several reasons, including my previous experience within the community, my dedication to upholding community standards, and my overall understanding of the responsibilities of being a staff member.
First things first, I would like to discuss my previous community experience. I was previously a staff member, as mentioned before, which gives me a large advantage in experience and knowledge. Because of this, I believe I would be able to uphold the rules to a higher standard, as well as having better judgment towards difficult situations where it is critical to make informed conclusions.
I, as mentioned before, have a strong dedication towards holding community standards to the highest standards possible. Some ways I plan to do this include being active, showing my community dedication. Another reason I believe I have a strong dedication is because of my willingness to learn, keep my judgement consistent, and overall be the best possible staff member I can be. Being an outstanding member of staff also includes holding RP etiquette and showing fellow members of the community how to properly behave/act in certain situations. My willingness to learn and wanting to educate others contribute to the portrait of a strong and intelligent staff member, as well as making the community a better place for all players.
Ensuring a kind, level-headed staff member is also critical for player retention and enjoyment. I aim to make sure all players enjoy their time on Prometheus by keeping myself in check, both with my emotions, words, and actions. I will not be disrespectful, in character or otherwise, to any member of the community to ensure several things, including professional representation of all aspects of Prometheus. I aim to create a fun and enjoyable roleplay environment for everyone, regardless of creed, race, sex, etc., to ensure everyone can enjoy the server to its fullest extent.
What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:
The duties and responsibilities of a staff member include several key aspects that I believe I possess, including professionalism, kindness, calmness, consistency, and knowledge.
From the standpoint of emotions and decorum, I plan to act in the most professional way possible. Some of such ways include using restraint to avoid what I might want to say, using patience and politeness to leave a positive impression on all of those I may encounter. Another part of being a staff member is being kind and empathetic, but not overly so, as it may lead to some clouding of judgment. That being said, using kind words and not insulting people is an important part of displaying maturity, as well as adding to the aura of professionalism. Keeping a cool, level head is important, especially in tense situations. Keeping a cool head is important to see the truth and not your own emotions, leading to a fairer verdict. Consistency is also important, as the punishment of one person's infraction should not be different than another person's in a similar situation. This prevents against possible bias or any other possible negative attributes of not just a staff member, but a good person in general. Knowledge is key, especially in difficult situations where a decision can be hard. Knowing is key to properly dealing with a situation, whether it be knowing what uniform a certain faction uses or a PK guideline.
To help assist others in tasks they would need staff for tasks such as:
model changes- the player would not be able to do it unless they were staff themselves.
Promotions- it is our job to go through with promotion requests unless they are on cooldown.
Putting someone in a faction- same as model changes to have someone put in a faction requires the staff team to handle it, which falls under our jobs as a staff member
Upholding rules- it is our job to make sure ourselves as well as others are following server rules to ensure everyone has a good time.
Punishment for infractions - People who break the rules must be dealt with, however, it must be in a fair and just way
Administering PKs - Doing PKs is a large part of being a well-rounded staff member due to its necessity in certain situations, such as FearRP.
These are only a few aspects, and as I further my understanding of the rules and community, I hope to learn many, many more ways to uphold the community.
We are also to ensure we are holding ourselves and other staff members to the same standard that we hold the rest of the community to. Because as staff we are setting an example to those members of the community. Our goal is to ensure we are setting an amazing example to those community members every single day, which can be done by not rushing to punish and educating people before any action is taken against them.
