Hey boss, hope the bronco is runnin well, I'm cruisin to 30,000 miles already! A full mental breakdown? Dang, I hope I don't give out those crazy of vibes.. I did get upset with being called out on "hovering as staff" near the end of my previous work with the network, I left a few "zzzzz" in chat and logged out. I didn't mean any ill tempt just thought that, what was going on in the church at the time was comedic and enjoyable.. and taking countless amounts of tickets in between... I loved taking tickets. I hope to have learned to just vibe in character between tickets and hopefully that issue will be fixed, any suggestions I'll gladly taking into thought. I'll happily, and cheerfully hop back in line for the betterment of the community. Gary's Mod is a big nostalgia hit to me, what you have built brings in countless amounts of laughs, and friendships. If I brought any hard feelings I'd hope to have the opportunity to formally apologize. Prometheus until the end! IC Character names and ranks, a brief overview of their duties/everyday activities: Udo Brendstein - I started in the Kaiserguarde and worked my way up towards NCO, following drills, patrols around the city, guarding the Reichstag and competing in wargames across Berlin. After hitting NCO I was given the opportunity to join the NSB, I joined and worked under Manfried von Gottingen. Given directives to conduct investigations and acting on PCO's, quite fun stuff. After a change of administration in the NSB I was offered a spot within the Gardekorp der Innenminister and have been there ever since filling the role of protection detail. What previous experience do you have as a staff member, either here or in other communities, on Garry’s Mod?: I have worked a lot with the PN Server and staff as a previous moderation / administrator staff member, I have countless thousands of hours strictly here on PN (Long Live PN!) I feel I have veteran experience and wish to get back into the swing of it! I have Game-Mastered in Dungeon and Dragons scripting my own events / scenarios for my friends and family throughout my childhood, I led adventures through a story with a strong Setup / Conflict / Resolution all of which they had to make their own decisions with repercussions deeming to said decision, I think it takes a strong GM who can capitalize on adventurers decisions quickly too keep a smoother Roleplay in effect. I have a 3 year background Moderating VRChat, that was interesting.. A lot of weird / meta / bug abusing interactions that had to be dealt with, building up my knowledge with how to engage in an investigation and deal with suspects. I have handled Star Wars Roleplay ticket systems on Icefuse and Revenant Star Wars as well, pretty basic minge behavior, a lot of RDM, just not nearly as active in ticket activity as Berlin. I have also been a Guild Master of different MMO's with the pure task to build a community and to create constructive friendships that last years most people I still talk to too this day. (300 words or more): I bring pure loyalty to the server; I wake up and breathe Prometheus. I'm a better applicant than any of the others because I bring experience, not just experience in other moderation situations, but more experience in the essence of life. I'm getting old. Being 33 now, I have experienced a lot. I've seen the internet develop into what it now is, which can be used for the greater good of Prometheus. I have the thought process and stability to think through a problem, work it out, come to an understanding, and choose what's best for the situation. Being from the PNW (Pacific Northwest, PST time), I am in Berlin when most are unavailable; I can excel at keeping the server healthy and dependable during those Graveyard Shifts. I thrive during the early mornings and LOVE a good constant flow of REAL roleplay; I try my absolute best to stay in character at all times and only want to see this server grow and thrive, keeping and cherishing that first interaction with the first character you see in the game as a new player. I spent a decent amount of time in Berlin. I noticed the lack of roleplay and the server's rules needing to be fixed occasionally. However, I still see that staff are trying their best to ensure that roleplay is still flowing and that events are taking place, and when I know that, I have hope that the staff are trying their best. I took it upon myself to apply for staff as I have confidence that I can help the staff team in any way possible when enforcing the rules, ensuring roleplay, and assisting with events that need staff assistance. I only wish to help out more, so I plan to shell out an application and see what happens. What is the role of staff on the server? Explain it in your own words. (200 words or more): Staff is a non-profit organization providing peer run support groups for players to find solutions to problems around the server not excluding Discord/Forums. Staff shouldn't just let tickets sit and rot, I would take initiative with handling excess amounts of tickets, putting all my effort into handle said ticket to the upmost professional capability. Staff also helps players when a ticket is made could mean helping teach them how to use the Tool Gun, maybe they have an issue with Precision or Welding, changing layer models / factions with new enlisted / transfers / demotions / promotions and dealing with any other issues. Staff want to be able to interact with the community respectfully, this means not just being a robo-staff, It's a responsibility, stay professional. Let's say you take a ticket and are approached by a hectic frustrated player, being mature and calm I would attempt to defuse the situation. At the end of the day you don't want to "pick sides" you remain unbias as a staff and stick to the rules that Prometheus has set in play. I would say the goal of the staff position is to ensure roleplay is ran smoothly for everyone throughout the WHOLE day!
