Hauptmann Josh Ray Peterson - This character is the Military Police Troop Commander, duties are to lead the 18. Field Hunter Battalion and make sure it is healthy and active. (PK’d)

 

Yang Gensi - A civ character, works with criminal organizations and produces drugs

 

How long have you been roleplaying?: Over 2 months

 

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Last 2 weeks notes, LTARP/ left during arrest and RDM x1. I have learned the rules after these notes and bans, and I will be studying the rules and not make the same mistake AGAIN.

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:  After playing for almost 3 months on Prometheus, on multiple characters and factions that I was part of, I believe I have the necessary knowledge and skill to be a staff member in Prometheus. Making mistakes and playing as a commissioned officer within the Feldjager helped me a lot to get in hang of the rules and what to do and not what to do, while also learning the names of staff members. 

I will take my time to read and study up on the rules on Prometheus, understanding the rules is the big part of being a staff member in Prometheus, if an unskilled staff member were to be hired, they are very likely to make dumb mistakes leading to someone’s character getting falsely PK’d or getting banned. But for me, I promise that nothing like that will happen and if they do it will quickly be appealed. Also taking tickets will also play a big part in this. I will be quick about it but also take my time to understand the situation and solve it,  and answer any questions that are asked of me. The next most important thing for staff members to do is actually enforcing the rules, not being biased towards specific players. I won’t lower the punishment even if the person is a friend of mine. Rules are rules and everyone must follow them, no buts or if, there are there for a reason, to improve the roleplay in Prometheus.

Also having a good relations with the player base is great. Having good relations with players will likely help them not to break any rules. Being helpful is the number 1 priority for all staff members, and that fits me, I am the  kind of person to actually ask upfront if they need literally anything else, even if the situation was resolved.

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: 

Taking tickets - Tickets are the main way to make a report of a rule breaker in game or just want to ask a question or perhaps just need someone to be put in uniform/faction. It is a staff’s job to take these tickets and resolve whatever situation is happening, such as PKs, RDM, LTAPS, NITRP, NLR, powergaming, and POs. 

 

Enforcing the rules -  The main reason was staff exists, their job is to enforce the rules for the sole purpose to improve the overall roleplay for everyone. If there was no one to enforce then there would be no true roleplay. Such as metagaming, minging, breaking OOC, and VDM, all of that is a staff’s job to enforce.

Staying active - as a staff member is a responsibility that all staff members need to uphold, not being active means no tickets being taken, no tickets being taken means no RP. One of the bigger things that this position does is being helpful to all players that need it.
