IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format: Kapitän zur See Eggert Bockmann. Navy Chief for almost a month now. I usually log in around 4/5 PM. This is currently my only character and the first one I created.

 

How long have you been roleplaying?: I started playing 2022. I had no experience prior to Prometheus.

What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?: None
 

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?: I've been playing on this server for three years which gave me a good understanding of the rules and taught me how to become more confident in leading roleplay scenarios and during that time I've always depended on the staff to do anything, whether it was RP-related or not. Every time I was helped by a staff member I asked myself why I don’t do the same, after all being a staff member has always been within my reach. But now I think the time has come. My time in this community has helped me build a strong community presence and I will always work on growing my presence and reputation whether I’m on the team or not. You can expect to see my daily, throughout prime time and sometimes late in the day (during minge hours) whether I'm actively roleplaying or fulfilling my duties as a moderator. I know most people in this community, some of them being my friends because I’ve worked in all the factions, some of which no longer exist, therefore, I believe I have the experience and ability to be a staff member for the first time and help clean up the ticket traffic that is sometimes greater than the amount of staff available, causing unnecessary interruptions to the RP. Helping new players is paramount, good communication to calm them down and teach them the basics of the server is necessary for the creation of a new player base. Like any other player I've been PK'd (a few times), but I never have been banned or noted, RP for me is not a competition, it's more of a fun so have I never broken the rules, not even intentionally. And even though I don't have experience as a staff member, I have a lot with the server itself. Learning won't be a problem.

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words?: Your job as a moderator requires you to help out factions with promotions, demotions or new recruits. Moderators also have the ability to process civilian PKs within the guidelines and should always assist with PK requests. Moderators should always strive to better themselves and help out as much as possible by joining the recruitment or mentorship team so they can set a positive example for all players, as it is noticeable, breaking the rules is not part of my portfolio, my honesty regarding the server is unquestionable and there is nothing that can prove my dedication and respect to the server more than my clean record. So for me the task of duty will be easy, I will simply apply what I have already demonstrated throughout these years as a player, but now as a staff. Thus my responsibility will be to ensure the integrity of the server rules, created to improve the server as a whole and maintain the balance between fun and respect
