Explain why you were PK'd: Apparently this gentleman had tried to mug me while a civil war was occurring(i was doing very well i might add probably well enough to get a medal or promotion)

Why should you be un-PK'd?: He didn't pull out a gun until my back was turned to him and I was heading to my car to get back to the action, from his clip he simply said "stop" which I not only didn't hear but even if I had heard I likely wouldn't have stopped, there is probably 5-10 "white shirts" a day that say "hey hey stop hey stop" and usually I will stop in case they need help(information, new to berlin, etc.) I have been mugged plenty of times, I'm not new to it, I get how it works. but unfortunately the high stakes (civil war) and this man simply saying stop with a gun at my back that I was unaware of led me to do carry on with what I was doing. in the staff sit I even dropped stuff for him as a gesture "like hey man total misunderstanding but I will try to make it right" he took the stuff and then insisted on a PK... The totality of circumstances should be taken into account in my opinion, the guy even got grilled by some higher admin the admin said" what are you out just mugging in the middle of a civil war for?" he responded "the war wasn't going on when it happened" which it very much was, I just got done taking 15-20 heads off of shoulders from KG with the kar98k.  Again, I was balls deep in serious RP, If you are curious what I was doing away from the KG building(which you likely are), we had just pushed them back and of course the grind must continue as well so I went to purchase a shipment as quick as possible so I could stay suppling my fellow troops with guns and supplies.

Garry's Mod - Clipped with Medal.tv This was his perspective, unfortunately I didn't clip it from my perspective, I always clip situations if I even think there's a possibility of shenanigans. From his perspective though you can clearly see that my back was turned when he pulled a gun out (explanation to why I didn't know what was going on, not to mention the whole ass war that was occurring it was a bit chaotic) furthermore from his clip he simply said "stop" like 2-3 times, which I did not hear but can be heard from his clip. in the staff sit his mic was cutting out as well. Both staff members seemed sympathetic to the situation because there was a whole civil war happening, which I was doing amazing in, yet this man thought he would use the time to go mugging. He claimed to not be a mugging char, but in the same breath sort of said that he was. I have been mugged dozens of times, I always just let them do their thing, I'm sure if you checked my logs that you would see that i don't fuck around at all. I was right in the middle of having an awesome RP experience after being gone for like 2 weeks, within an hour I get "mugged/PKd" I was even a good sport when I got pulled I was like "oh, simply a misunderstanding and I am more than happy to give you the things that I had when this situation occurred, I dropped the stuff, he took it, and then insisted that I get PKD. This was my highest ranking char, as previously stated, i was absolutely laying NSB down as KG in the war before I met an untimely end due to a misunderstanding. I was a good KG member, I consistently supplied members new or established with guns and supplies, I was very close to my higher ups, and I would very much appreciate a second opinion. The only other clips I have are of the staff sit where the man who's in a "criminal organization" and not a "mugging char" kind of fumbles around his words, especially when he got grilled about why the hell he was just out mugging when there's a serious RP event going on. If you guys want those clips just lemme know, I really hope this doesn't fall upon deaf ears and I can be shown a bit of mercy here. To put it short and sweet, This dude tried to mug me in a very odd way and I didn't see his gun and I didn't hear him, I don't know if it was his mic cutting out or my headset cutting out, but in his video like I said he says stop while I'm turned around running back to the fight. I would not have risked my main chars life over the BS that I had on me, I was a tier 5 established char. If anything had I realized I was being mugged I might have shot him instead, as I said I just came from a murder festival. Every time I've been mugged though I just let them have their way with my stuff.

I should add that this was my only char that was a tier 5 party member which is big sad to lose as well, He was also my first char, and was named after my grandfather whom has passed.

Hi, I was the one who approved this pk. You were held under gunpoint , and told to stop moving 5x , all within 8-9 seconds, also actively evading. From what I know, that is absolutely PK worthy. Sorry to hear about your grandfather , I'm sure the character was important to you, but there are server rules and PK guidelines for a reason. Maybe UA has other thoughts, that's just my piece.

 

ps - I would follow the template otherwise this will be insta denied xd

Also to address what you said, from my perspective I seen no gun, you can see from his video that he didn’t even have a gun out until my back was to him, furthermore, just because a ransom civ is running by you saying stop a bunch of times doesn’t mean you’ve got to stop (in my defense as not seeing the gun) had he said this is a mugging or anything of that nature I feel it would have been slightly different but as I said I didn’t even hear him say anything to me, I just saw a civ run by me and I was running to get back to our civil war.(which my erratic running may be able to be explained as I was in quite a hurry to make a flank on the nsb, I had driven from kg around to car dealer to stop by the drug dealer npc (gotta keep those troops supplied somehow) and then I was hitting the loop to be behind the MOI so it could be a “pinch sort of situation” and we could have them fight on two fronts. But like i said I’m a very tired guy rn, and I’ll fix the format tomorrow, I’ll probably drop the staff sit clips too.
