Explain why you were PK'd: killed while executing an operation to kill Hinterland

Why should you be un-PK'd?: I was told it was an unauthorized raid on the NSB, however because I knew if I died I would be PK'd I tried to hide in a room with no gun out and wait out the shooting when a random Gendarmerie came in, didn't say anything and shot me. I was trying to remove myself without being PK'd as I knew what would happen if I died.  I had no clue where Hinterland was and took no actions to try and capture or kill him. 

Additional Information: Jack Hinterland lead a raid on the MOI. The NSB were about to commence an opperation to kill him. However when the NSB were leaving the MOI Hinterland Raided the MOI and went to Paradise. on his way out, Hinterland then punched a member of the interior to get them to move before he was shot.
