Explain why you were PK'd:

Today 2/11/2025 I was pked after conducting a PK I was ordered to carry out. I was told to execute Oberstleutnant Hans Braun Chief of the MGD inside the Reichstag by Shorty (Chief of NSB) without knowing this would be an event let alone was I informed about the rule of a 15 minute time period of being able to be PKed after carrying out a PK. We were informed of this rule until after I had followed through and completed my issued orders. Shorty was then informed that himself and whoever else knew about what was happening would be PK active after I had executed Braun, Shorty then immediately DM'ed me informing me not to die because I was PK active. Beforehand I had no regard for my character dying in a gunfight or not because I didn't think I had much to worry about other than the standard LARP gunfight. Donzoko who took my ticket to set Hans Braun PK active did not inform me of this rule either and let me continue on after I had shot Braun. He then was the one to TP to me after I respawned to then inform me that I was PKed to which I was confused because I had died a normal way. He then informed me that I had been PK active sicne the moment Braun was killed and I had no clue.

Why should you be un-PK'd?: 

I should be un-PK'ed because I don't think its very just or fair that I got PKed and wasn't informed that it was a possibility until after I was killed. I enjoy playing the server and worked my ass off (when I could) to get to where I was before I got PK'ed. I think I should have been informed that it was possible for my PK to happen while Braun was being set PK active by Donzoko because I wouldn't have boldly just ran around like I usually do. Many more precautions would have been taken by myself to ensure I would be safe that is if I knew I could be PKed.

As some comments have noted: ignorance of the rules is no exception. Though, to your first point, staff have discretion under some circumstances. Here, however, is not one of those circumstances. It is of utmost importance that those who carry out PKs are subject to the PK guidelines with higher scrutiny than an ordinary situation or RP scene.

In a roleplay server it is expected that you act as your character would in any given scenario. If you are partaking in any scene, important or not, that may bring about consequences, whether that be IC reprimands or a PK on anyone involved, precautions should be taken.
