Explain why you were PK'd:
I was PKd in a firefight between the Army and MOI/NSB/LAPO factions at a checkpoint. During the engagement i was taking cover in a bush with very limited visibility while returning fire. I could hear my teammates over the radio and believed friendly forces were nearby still.

During the fight someone suddenly jumped directly onto my position. At that moment I could not see clearly due to the vision in the bush, but when he landed beside me, I briefly saw his description tag and realized he was an enemy. I instinctively stood up and opened fire, but I was immediately killed by multiple enemies surrounding the area. The staff later reviewed a clip of the incident and ruled that my actions fell under, (Committing PKs that will obviously result in the death of the aggressor.)

Why should you be un-PK'd?:
The entire event happened really fast, leaving almost no time to assess the situation properly. My reaction was not a conscious attempt to break FearRP or act suicidally, it was an immediate reflex once I recognized an enemy directly beside me in an active firefight.

The cited PK rule applies to deliberate, suicidal actions for example, knowingly running into a room full of armed guards. In my case, I did not knowingly enter a fatal situation or attempt to “trade lives.” I was already under fire, in cover, and reacted instinctively when an enemy suddenly appeared within arm’s reach. My decision to return fire was based on immediate threat recognition, not disregard for RP realism.

I fully understand and respect the server’s roleplay and FearRP standards. However, I believe this situation was the result of combat confusion and limited visibility rather than a clear rule violation. Considering the short timeframe lack of intent and realism of my reaction I kindly ask for reconsideration of the PK and for it to be reduced to an NLR or voided as an accidental misunderstanding.

Additional Information:

• No staff were present during the incident; the decision was based on video evidence. 

   

• I still opened fire from the bush time frame: 0:05-0:08

• The clip shows the opposing player jumping onto my position first.

• Visibility in the bush was extremely limited: I could only identify him once I saw his tag beside me.

• I have a clean record and always aim to roleplay seriously and respectfully.

Thank you for taking the time to review this appeal. I fully respect the staff team’s decision making and will make sure to take extra caution in future combat situations to avoid similar misunderstandings.

Hello there im the staff member that unfortunately banned you, the reason of your pk was 'Initiating a gunfight' which at the time comabt had ceased and the moi was moving forward, you decide to come out of the bush by yourself surrounded by the entire Ministry of Inteior and open fire rather then running away, or simpliy surrendering I understand on your staunch defence of your position but the clip was a secondary clip that was even made longer from the original, along side that I had consulted members of Administration and Head Administators regarding this issue after deliberation it was found that you intentionally open fired I dont think you had fully grasped the situation nor the rules regarding pk. Still, after I requested in game for a higher admin, Head Administrator Browniemeister showed up and supported the validity of the PK on the basis that you willingly opened fired well after combat had died down. =

I fully understand the reason and i want to clarify that i do know the Pk and FearRP rules. From my pov in the bush combat hadnt ended there were still shots and radio talk. When someone suddenly jumped over me and I saw the Moi description right next to me i reacted instinctly and fired without realizing how surrounded i was. It wasnt meant to reinitiate combat or ignore FearRP just a fast confused reaction in a war moment. the clip shows how quickly it all happened.
Ill be more cautious in the future but I hope this helps to show that it wasnt intentional.

After reviewing the evidence provided from both sides it is clear that this PK was in fact valid, the shooting ended and you we're completely surrounded by Interior Forces and you still decided to open fire, with that being said this appeal is:
