Explain why you were PK'd: To quote my original appeal, "The situation itself was this: A meeting was ongoing in the senate chambers of the party wing. As members of the Konsul-Echelon protecting the meeting, myself (the Deputy Chief of the unit) and four other guards, including the Chief, were standing outside and filtering entry for individuals coming in. Unbeknownst to me, the Science Minister walked up to the door and tried to enter, and because I did not recognize him, his name, or the badge above his head (which yes, I should have), I stopped him. He counted down from 10, and as he did, the door was opened by the Vizekonsul, who was inside. As he went inside, I made a snarky remark along the lines of how "I'm glad you know how to count", and of course, I was ordered to be detained by him and his guards. When I was detained, one of the guards of the Echelon (an enlistedman) shot the guard who detained me. I did not order this shooting, nor did I say anything that would be interpreted as such. Nevertheless, a small gunfight began, and that resulted in the deaths of the Science Minister and his guards. I was then undetained by one of the other guards, and we were all immediately ordered to the Vize Konsul's office. He then lined us up, and was about to speak with us, but then the Minister came into the room, had us all tied and ordered for death, and while I tried to reason with the Minister, he then said I was talking too much, and proceeded to shoot me in the head, killing me" (This happened on 11/29).

Why should you be un-PK'd?: The situation doesn't fall under any of the PK guidelines that I have read, and in the effort of explicitly clarifying this, I did not kill or order the killing of ANYBODY during the gunfight. I was detained throughout all of it, and was only untied and able to regain any control of my character AFTER it had ended, and the Minister and his guards were dead. There was not two gunfights where there was time for conflict resolution inbetween, it all happened at once, and I do not believe I should be held responsible for it/be pk'd. Although I was the deputy of the unit at the time and was "responsible" for the actions of my men, a random enlistedman (who I had not recruited/had much experience with) RDMing/TKing a bunch of people shouldn't result in my death. In regards to the other personnel who opened fire, I believe they acted in defense of the meeting and the command personnel within and shouldn't directly be blamed for the situation either.

Additional Information: Of course, I am not denying my involvement in what happened. I understand that I was in the wrong to have stopped the Minister and I do not disagree with his less-than-happy reaction, but I still don't believe it warrants death, especially when I was not responsible for the death of him or his guards. I had intended on following his orders, taking the detainment, and leaving ALIVE, but of course, the spontaneous decision of the enlistedman to open fire and begin a gunfight prevented this, and somehow led to my death. I am sincerely sorry for what happened, I truly do regret that it spiraled so out of control, and I promise to recognize insignias better/have more common sense in the future.

Also, personally, I would like to apologize to Whoreson for speaking over him while the "debriefing" went down. Again, I was fearful for the life of myself and the other men in the room (besides the one who originally opened fire and killed him and his guards), and was a little panicked.

NOTE: I also understand that my original appeal was denied, but due to the fact that it was denied on the assumption that I MYSELF had killed or ordered the killing of anyone, I feel the need to clarify and clear up the situation with a second one.
