Explain why you were PK'd: i was pk'd for dying while starting a gunfight (fear rp)

Why should you be un-PK'd?: i want to apologize for starting the gunfight as it was kind of dumb and i should have not done it as i could have done so many other things in the situation i believe i acted impulsively and out of order and began a gun fight for a not very good reason i ask to be rank deducted and Name Pk'd instead if possible.
the situation was:
i had detained a lapo NCO for deserting from the KG and i was dragging him back to the LF when the lapo had surrounded me i was typing to them and talking to them and they told me to let the lapo nco go i refused as he had deserted the lapo general them aimed a gun as i kept moving so i panicked and took out my mp40 and began to fire upon the lapo i realize that this was a stupid decision and a msitake on my part but i ask my punishment be reconsidered and i get a rank deduction instead

Thank you for taking the time to create a PK Appeal. You really need to take more care and properly value your characters life. The whole situation could have been resolved if you had stopped when ordered to, however, you chose to pull your weapon under gunpoint and attempt to gun down the 10 LAPO in attendance. Whilst I appreciate that you done it out of impulse, the Guideline and reason for your PK is valid.
