Your Name: Joe Marston

SteamID (STEAM_0:X:XXX): 76561198330208331

Appeal Type (Apology or Dispute): Dispute

Which staff member banned you?: Slickb

How long is your ban for?: 2w

Why were you banned?: MRDM

Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: Given the context of the situation that me and my fellow 91st air force management members where involved In, it was a very reasonable for us to have opened fire. For my case the lives of my brothers in arms had been directly threatened by the Viceroy. At first all he talked about was that there would be a "purge" or our division multiple times. He then processed to mention the largest and most crucial members of our division the "Goldsteins" that they and i quote "It was mostly the Goldstein people so I think probably we start with them, I think They're gonna die" coming from any one else I can see how rule 3 of the killing rules would count it as an "idle threat" but coming from the Viceroy who has multiple guards at his back who will do his bidding? That is an Active Threat on their lives and to some degree all of ours as we now would have IC knowledge that "purge" means death because he said "start with them" meaning all our lives were in imminent danger. All of this will be in the provided clip. The rule I'm sighting

1. There are two types of threats, an 'Active Threat' and an 'Idle Threat'. Players may kill for an active threat, but they may not kill for an idle threat. The difference between the two is situational, but it will always pertain if the person making the threats has a weapon in their hand. For example, someone pointing a gun at you and threatening to kill you is an Active threat.
