Make Civilian and Business Roleplay more accessible and less bureaucratic

Idea Description:
I really enjoy civilian and business roleplay, but the current system on this server has significant limitations. Right now, the entry barrier is extremely high: it’s nearly impossible to acquire an apartment or business property because all of them are owned by military companies or state organizations. New players face endless inquiries and delays just to find the right contact who can grant access to a property, leading many to give up and leave the server.

The current approach requires players to /ad in chat and wait excessively for a state official with the right permissions to guide them through the application process. These people have in my experience never been online, or have ignored my requests as I have at no point gotten further in the application process. This bureaucracy kills business roleplay, creating frustration rather than fun. A solution could be to make more buildings buyable properties, reducing state ownership and simplifying the acquisition process, even going as far as letting players buy doors with F2. My own experience was very bad—I spent hours seeking someone who could sell me a property for my construction business, but I couldn’t reach the right person. Eventually, despite having donated to the server, I left due to these challenges and other stuff in my life, but I thought I might give a suggestion a go.

Why This Should Be Added:
Reducing bureaucratic barriers would make the server more accessible, allowing new and experienced players alike to establish their businesses and homes with ease. By offering buyable properties, we can improve player satisfaction with the players who enjoy Civilian RP, increase retention with these players, and finally breathe life into the city. Currently, the server leans heavily towards Military RP on a largely empty Berlin map, which limits immersion and detracts from the city’s realism.

Additional Information:
Have a nice day!

Solution: Make business licenses way cheaper than they are (currently 15.000rm with weekly fees to not lose it), and let us be able to buy doors with f2 for cheap. Most people don't do CivRP to make money, which is why a model of being forced to make money to pay for the business license fees is not going to work out in the long run.

Minges would abuse it and civ rp isn't supposed to be a troll fest

No. We leave these sorts of things to in-game factions. Businesses are also not centric to the main purpose of the server, rather they're just 'complimentary content'; an extra thing players can take part in when not participating in government/military roleplay.

I do not foresee us as UA heavily altering the business process beyond what it currently is, and I can almost guarantee you we'll never be adding that "Door F2" feature you mentioned.

"Businesses are also not centric to the main purpose of the server" - Its WW2 Berlin RP but Berlin is empty, could you link me the server purpose by chance? oh and while you're at it, link me a picture of Berlin in 1943 with no civilians and no businesses.

"complimentary content'; an extra thing players can take part in when not participating in government/military roleplay" - That might be how you view it, but I'm kindly letting you know that there are players on the server who would like something else to do permanently, you even highlight my point. If the case is that its complimentary content soldiers can participate in when not hardcore roleplaying, then tell me why its so much more time consuming and harder to start doing CIV RP, then it is to RP as government/military?

"I do not foresee us as UA heavily altering the business process beyond what it currently is, and I can almost guarantee you we'll never be adding that "Door F2" feature you mentioned." - That is why you will keep marching around on an empty Berlin map with no purpose whatsoever other than fighting other battalions.

In my experience it actually fixes a lot of minge problems. People who are currently running around fist fighting random orpo could get something else to do, as I played on Werwolf, I had a business with 20-30 employees and we hired new people constantly who would have otherwise probably been banned.

Not to mention, an overhaul of the civ system would make more people buy the phys/toolgun because it is heavily needed in CivRP

I don't know what you are talking about. The streets are packed full of CIV RP businesses such as Tiny China, Ottoman's Lounge, Raven Cigar Lounge, Olive Branch and more

and the CIV business had come together multiple times to host significant CIV RP events such as the Moon Festival, Emperor Museum Gala, Munich Memorial and the recent Halloween Weekend events

Moving this to Denied, as there's already a pretty big thread regarding Civilian RP, and due to the fact that most of what you brought up here was answered.
