IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format: John Ritter, Polizeivizeprasident der Landespolizei, a German-born man who initially enlisted in 1932 into the Infanterie, and left in 1938 to join the Landespolizei. Since then, he has been growing as an intelligence professional, operations supervisor, and leader to the Landespolizei, serving under Heinrich Heusmann and Erich Sharnhorst.

This was during a shootout between the Military and the MOI. I crossed fire because I misidentified an individual I thought was Military, and I was warned.

What previous experience do you have as a staff member within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?: I have been a staff member on nearly every roleplay category on almost every central server on Garry’s Mod server list (except for PonyRP and SlaveRP) since 2018. I have experience in Nutscript, DarkRP, and Helix, which has allowed me to become more flexible in my operations across Garry’s Mod. I am prominent in staff positions of rule enforcement and rule definitions, but even more so for event development.

 

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:

You should pick me to be a Prometheus Networks Staff Team member because of my dedication, schedule flexibility, and ability to support daily roleplay operations. My dedication to this server first sparked when it was Typhon, which expanded to Prometheus, back when the old game mode was around. I was an LSS SNCO and later Chief, and I served as a Moderator for a time before I resigned to play StarWars Roleplay. As I have returned over the past two months, I have closely examined, been educated on, and learned to understand what rules are and are not meant to do for the server. Second, my schedule flexibility. I am with the US Army Garrison Hawaii, working in the GMT-10 Time Zone, which puts me 3 hours behind California, and 3 hours ahead of Australia (fuck early afternoon meetings), which allows me the opportunity to do late-night activities with friends and subordinates, as to keep the roleplay interesting even when the lights are theoretically off. Finally, my ability to support daily roleplay operations, with experience in roleplay positions in the Military, MOI, Landespolizei, Kaisergarde, and State, all allow me to ensure further the safety, stability, and security of the server players, staff, and events. 

Additionally, I have been playing Garry's Mod since its prime days, learning from a young age how impactful this game can be to a child who wants to learn and play. Learning how to write documents and reports, how to speak with people with respect, and how to know when the right thing to do is and when not to do such things, this game has taught me tremendous amounts of lessons that otherwise would have been learned in a "tough love" or "experience it the hard way" sort of lessons. That's why you should pick me as the staff member.

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:

The Prometheus Networks Staff Team is responsible for the security, safety, and stability of all of its players by enforcing rulesets, discussing with players regarding wrongdoings, and coordinating with leadership, both IC and OOC leadership, regarding actions and operations that are needed to be taken to ensure the maximum efficiency and safety of the server and its players. Staff Members resolve conflict with absolution and effectiveness, enforce rules against all individuals regardless of origin, and maintain watch to ensure the server does not become hindered in its roleplay due to misconduct in any way. The staff team also receives delegated tasks from UA regarding new rules, events, and requirements needed to ensure the server's roleplay ability is better and to communicate these changes without fail. If a player or a fellow staff member feels a rule has been broken, then it is up to the Prometheus Networks Staff Team to review, decide, and resolve the conflict present so that all parties may go along with their day. The Staff Team also regulates the process of PKs, or Player Kills, to ensure that all players are within the bounds of the guidelines when a character can or can not be killed permanently. They can make the best decision by going through these guidelines and understanding the situation in which the player was dead.
