I issued you the note for RDM because you failed to escalate the situation properly. In the sit, I told you that I was not going to ban you but instead issue a note, where you said that didn't care if you got a note, showing your lack of acknowledgement of administrative punishment. I fully agree with Gary here, because throughout both the sits that I had with you, you acted in a disrespectful and almost brash way to myself and Gary in OOC interventions. While I do understand that this alone wouldn't be enough to ban anyone over personal feelings, I certainly do agree with the proper reasoning and evidence provided in the sit that resulted in your ban that the choice Gary took was necessary. You have failed to properly RP several times in the same evening, and if you feel that a LaPo officer was being detained for no reason, that is not a reason to immediately shoot anyone in any circumstance, especially because of how detached you were with the original situation. For all you know, they could have been serving a warrant, or basically any other RP reason to detain someone. Additionally, according to your ban logs, (all can be found on this document) you have been adequately warned about violating community rules (such as RDM and Global Rule 1) and have ignored them several times, adding to the reasons why you were banned. From what I have seen of you in the community, you have failed to RP several times, and try to use excuses such as "I was just pissed off about my nsb char getting pked" to explain your evident lack of self control.

See, what you fail to realize is you were told not to do it. You thought it was a discussion, it wasn't, you were told it was against the rules, you continued to think that you had a say in the matter by claiming that a staff member only pk'd you because they were a military member as if that would be some justification for you getting involved in the situation. I told you you were not allowed to be involved in the situation and if you didn't like that you could leave the server. You continued to argue. What you continue to fail to realize is multiple players had made complaints about you involving yourself in the situation, your conduct is what made you a target and your behavior in the staff sit thinking it was a debate or up for compromise is why you are on your much needed break. You were not banned for your opinion of the PK, nobody cares about your opinion over that, you were banned because you were told not to involve yourself in the situation and you wanted to argue about it.

Staff coverage can sometimes be rather tight around the times I am online. I believe that I have the capabilities to stay calm in stressful scenarios. I have always considered myself a rather neutral person, especially when it comes to making opinions/decisions. Striving to take the best out of both sides so I can improve myself is something I do often, I also believe that I am capable and trustworthy enough to be entrusted with a position of power. [150 Words or more]: The staff’s job is to handle situations where two players conflict each other and the immersion of roleplay is broken. Staff is to assist the players wherever logically possible. (i.e. Player not knowing commands). The Staff on a Roleplay server are crucial for Rule enforcement, as when rules aren’t being enforced, they will be broken, resulting in a massive drop in the quality of roleplay since rules exist for a reason. The staff’s job is to always stay neutral, no matter the circumstance. As a staff, you have to interpret the rules correctly and follow them yourself to set an example, because Staff is always seen as an example, even if the Staff member was just recently appointed. It is crucial for members of the Staff team to know that they must tolerate everything that goes against them. Of course, if it goes against server rules, it is their job to punish the player. But simple banter in OOC Chat, criticism or anything else shouldn’t be responded to in a toxic way, as it’s unprofessional in my personal opinion. As a staff member, you are also not allowed to hold grudges over someone in a sit over something that happened in RP or outside of the server. If you don’t believe you can handle it fairly and neutrally, it’s best to just pass it along to another staff member.
