I saw a member of the military wrecklessly driving, I tracked him down and was going to detain him. I crashed my car into his, jumped out and pointed my gun at him, I told him to get out and he tried to speed off, I then dumped a mag into his car and he stopped, another member of the military then came out of nowhere and shot and killed me. I did not see him until I was shot. Why should you be un-PK'd?: Firstly, to my knowledge Expert is a moderator, it clearly states in the rules "Moderator | Moderator+ oversight - Civilian PKs [KAG not included]", my char that got PKed is not a civillian and a CO also. So I believe it was done without the proper authorization. Furthermore I want to look at the definition of a "shoot-out", I would not believe that trying to shoot at a car that is trying to flee is a shoot-out, I am simply using my weapon to slow down/stop the car, not kill the actual person driving the car. The way I interpret a shootout is where a guy is forced to return fire and has no other realistic option. In this case my shots were an attempt to disable the car as he was starting an attempt to flee. Not to kill the individual in question. I was shot by someone who did not see the start of the interaction, I do not believe it is fair to be PKed due to this. I will also put the link to the clip that got me PKed. You can clearly see me in the clip, shooting the car and not damaging the person in the vehicle at all, he stopped his car after I shot and I did not continue to shoot. You can hear me in the clip say "get out the car", then magdump into the car, reload and say again "Get out the car", if I had intentions of killing him I would just reload and shoot him. Hello, I believe you have the wrong guy in this case then since I don't even have a MP40 on my back or on my character at all? I have a stem on my civ character and you can check logs to verify. Also, you showed me logging off the server doesn't implicate anything? I don't even have a MP40 and you are showing my military character which is allowed to have a MP40.

I think it would be a good idea to add more guns, but it think it would be important to make sure they all fit in the theme.

[150 Words or more]: As a staff member there might be many things you will have to do, here are some of my general objectives: General Duties General duties of being a staff member include taking sits, Punishing players, changing models and faction transfers, and moderating Roleplay situations so that no one is breaking the rules. Handing out punishments for players who are breaking the rules are important, but there can be nuance to certain situations. When there is someone who is RDMing. It is usually a clear and cut case. But when someone is being accused of breaking the rules during an important and complicated roleplay scenario, it's important that staff take their time with it. This usually means collecting Recorded gameplay, speaking to both parties or witnesses, and checking logs, then deliberating. At the end of the day it's important to be 100% unbiased and rule just from the evidence that is being presented Decorum and Professionalism Decorum and Professionalism is particularly important. What the word decorum means to me is how someone carries themselves day to day and how they are perceived. When being professional with how you interact with players it’s important to stay very calm. As well as speaking clearly and formally, and not being emotional and not taking the situation personally. Professionalism can also be something as simple as writing with proper syntax and grammar or pronouncing words correctly. Being A role model As a Staff member, you are constantly a role model to players. It's important to behave the same way you would want a player to behave, as well as treat players the same way you would like to be treated. This means building a reputation of being a fair staff member, and someone who players want to have their ticket taken is important too.

Hell Staff Member that banned you. You were being actively interreacted with, being questioned about your the MP40 on your back with the Reichstag. People attempted to tie you several times, in which you fled, at that point when they came near you when you were approaching the main party wing doors, you switched character and then left the server.

We were in party wing and he was near a very noise polluted area next to Konsul's office while I was the main door. I had left because there was no more RP since I couldn't even hear so I left. I ask that the staff reconsider the ban since I havent been banned once in my 3.5 years of playing and have only accumulated 2 notes EVER and that was recent due to me just getting back into the game. I have made good friends in my arrival and didn't mean to break any rules anyway. I am a clear roleplayer who larps and has a good rep so I don't think banning me was justified at all. Denied Sounds more like you have a case of FOMO and want to come back to MITHC, instead of actually showing regret and apologizing for your actions. 18 previous bans makes me think you are not a good fit for this server, and won't be any time soon. You have a persistent history of moronic behavior, ask yourself why we would ever want this when MITHC launches.

While the effort in this appeal is not adequate towards a permanent ban, I'm inclined to give you another shot. Any further infractions (especially serious ones like Alt Evasion) will see to another permanent ban with little chance of appeal. Appeal: Accepted Thread: Locked
