I was originally under the misapprehension that the killing of someone intentionally trying to impede on roleplay was just. I understand now that my actions were rash and rulebreaks, especially those as severe as the ones broken (namely ERP) by my reporter. He should have been reported to the proper authorities rather than I just shooting them as that, realistically, accomplishes nothing other than my getting in trouble in place of the miscreant. I shall no longer partake in vigilantism as it is not conducive of a better roleplay environment and shall instead let matters of discipline be in the hands of the staff. I have in the past gotten into altercations that have been deemed RDM. That was me acting rashly and retardedly. I do not believe that this was one of those times and as such I dont think I should be banned. I understand where you're coming from with this. I just want to make it clear that im not a career minger. Yes, I admit to killing him twice within the span of 30 mins. He was warned more then 10+ times to shut his mouth by not just me, but every member of the KG 70% of whom outrank me due to the fact im simply a junior NCO. When it comes to the staff thing here is my defence: You see the military guy in the clip I presented? That dude had been waiting an hour to transfer into the KG with nobody coming due to there only being one staff who appeared to be AFK. All actions taken by me and other members of the KG were taken under the assumption that staff wouldnt be around to deal with it. I mean you banned me after I had already left the server.. thats why LTAP was tacked onto my ban note. You came in a long time after everyone had already forgotten about what went on. I mean after that clip me and my reporter did 20 minutes (What I remember but may be exaggerated) of marching drills together with nobody taking us to a sit for the alleged RDM. I think our timelines are slightly messed up. The first time I killed him was when we were in the presence of around 15 people (Entire KG and LAPO had gathered for a war game) As you can see in the screenshot, people were reacting negatively to this guy both in IC and OOC. This ofcourse, was only a small portion of what was actually going on with this guy. Before I shot him I even suggested to our Leutnant that we detain him and have him discharged. He told me no with his reason I can only assume being there wouldnt be staff around to deal with him. Although, this could also be because we needed bodies for our war game. When I shot him nobody in that audience (Including a general and high ranking COs) reported me or him. You could MAYBE argue this was negligence on all of our parts but I feel in situations like this where due to there being a lack of staff there is nothing that can really be done anyway, combined with the fact we were all preparing for a war game it is fair to maybe ignore the fact the degenerate got shot. The second time he was shot was a pretty long while after the LAPO had left. He had been warned by his superiors to shut his trap about the weird ass shit he was saying . What got me to shoot him a second time was him saying "im not a faggot but I could really go for some dick right now" inside the LF barracks. The aftermath of me doing this can be seen in the clip below. The last time I shot him was before the clip was taken and I did not attempt to do so afterwards. Yes, this is true but I feel like you're unfairly laying blame at my feet for not reporting him. I would just like to repeat that nobody in the entire KG and LAPO reported him and even if they did there is a high chance it wouldnt have gotten through in a timely enough fashion to do anything about it. I was the only one that actually took action to shut that moron up. I was then thanked for doing so. Im slightly confused by this statement. I put forward the screenshot to provide circumstantial evidence in place of a clip of him saying these things IC. You can see people reacting in character telling him to stop talking. You saying " its either a joke or an event he is actually interested in." is, im assuming in reference to him talking about those two IRL mass shootings. Why would he be talking about that stuff in OOC anyway? I also call into question why hes so fascinated by school shootings that he feels the need to bring it up in Imperial Germany RP OOC chat. The LOOC message makes it clear these school shootings are on his mind for whatever fucked up reason. You can even see me reacting in LOOC to him saying it IC at the top of the screenshot. With all due respect your message was conveyed poorly in this text block. I feel like this is moving the goal post slightly. I was banned for RDM and LTAP. Not for failing to report someone breaking the rules. If this is the case then why arnt the 10+ people who witnessed him Break NLR, ERP and failRP not making ban appeals along side me? In both events he was given more than ample time to stop doing the things he was doing. He decided instead to continue to act like a dysgenic ghoul and as such he ended up getting shot twice. RDM is a random killing of a player. This was not random nor unjust. This is also true. However I, like I said before, am a very low rank in the KG so was unable to push for his removal effectively. The acting commander decided that despite his rule breaks and general repellent nature that he should stay in the KG. Refer to previous statements made on this subject. Overall, I think what I did was just and the player in question got what he deserved. I will however concede that I may have been ever so slightly rash in my decision making. The reasoning behind my shooting of my reporter was because he was constantly yelling about being a faggot and "wanting dick" infront of the entire KG and LAPO. He said that " he was high in real life" IC then started asking fucking insane questions like "do you think the sandy hook shootings were fake?" and "are we gonna have a Colombine?" He was being a massive degen and the the entire audience that watched me kill him cheered when I did so. (These were two separate killings about 30 mins apart if I recall correctly). After I shot him he decided to give our leutnant an IC ultimatum that if he didnt punish me in character that he would report me for RDM. The two minutes after my second killing of him is shown in the clip below. For some reason you cannot hear my speech in said clip but I am talking throughout. But you can hear everyone is pretty much over his shit at this point and are really indifferent to the fact he was shot. The "reel" that is spoken about in the clip is footage of him talking about the aforementioned subjects of IRL school shootings, being high and... wanting penis. I unfortunately do not have clips of him saying these things IC. Keep in mind however that he was saying this shit nonstop over the mic and was overall being a massive retard. I think that the LTAP is to do with the fact that I left the server about 20 mins after he threatened to get me banned. I believe the only reason I was banned is because I was unable to defend myself due to being absent. (In the screenshots provided you can see people telling him to stfu and celebrating that I shot him IC due to his genuinely freakish language. Hello! Thank you for your replies. Firstly, Jimmyjr thank you for clearing that up. The only reason why I put your name there is because although you made it clear in our sit that it wasn't you're pk it was instead a PK you approved for someone else you never told me who that was despite telling me upwards of 5 times you were the one who approved it for who I now know is Thomas. Sorry for the confusion. Secondly, Thomas if you review the clip from my PK at 17 seconds which is only a second before im killed you can see that im not in fact pointing my gun at anyone and rather im pointing my pistol at the furthermost half of the red wall on my left. If I had fired while my gun was in this position it would have been aiming at nobody and therefore would have hit the wall and done no harm. Although, I do not blame you for not seeing this as the footage is incredibly grainy due to the distance that person who pked me was to the situation that ended up getting my char banned. Which is another thing that id like to dispute. I don't think its right that someone who had divorced themselves from the situation on the ground, not even being able to hear the conversation what was happening should be able to PK someone over a situation that they don't have the context to. Especially when I made it clear I was not going to shoot again to people on the ground. Not only that but if I was intending to pursue any aggressive action logic dictates that I would have attempted to follow the NCO once he reached the red brick wall behind the checkpoint gate. Instead I stood where I was, not shooting at the NCO that was actively running away from me and the KG which if I was trying to start some sort of gunfight I wouldn't have done. Gunfights tend to have two sides firing multiple shots at one another over a prolonged period of time. A single shot and then no further acts of aggression I don't believe constitutes a gun fight. I think that my disengagement on a physical, although not verbal level had been well signalled to even someone standing far away from the actual situation. This all leads me to continue to believe that my Pk is not valid. If my Pk appeal is denied the only reason I can see would be on some technicality that I don't know of as its pretty clear this is not a conventional "gunfight pk".

So for context me and 5-6 members of the KG were attempting to get the papers of an non-compliant heer NCO. Due to his belligerence we resolved to point our guns at him to get him to stop moving. The others pulled out theirs guns and told the NCO upwards of 10 times to stop moving. This is when I pulled out my gun and accidentally shot the NCO in the shoulder. I said "sorry" then began to repeat the bog standard line "you're under gunpoint, stop moving" . About 3 seconds elapsed between me accidentally shooting the NCO and the military shooting and killing me. (As seen in the clip below) This to me is proof that there was no intent nor follow through to start a gun fight. I feel the reasoning behind the char ban is pretty flimsy. Any engaging rp I attempted to create or take part in with any position I managed to acquire has always been overshadowed by bad actors who almost always enacted their will through non-rp means which in the end wastes everyone who is within that communities time. Or if there was any sort of "rp" it was nearly entirely heavily metagamed beforehand by whoever is in the GAs inner circle. I will not be making any direct allegations but everyone knows that peoples personal information have been shared in certain germany rp circles and there have been times where ive felt mildly unsafe simply because somebody has decided to turn their scorn to me or someone ive been related to because of some petty dispute usually over something extremely autistic. All of these things combined have made me really appreciate the security that prom provides and the degeneracy that it actively strays away from. To my knowledge there has never been an incident of that nature on prom and if there ever has been I imagine it has been swiftly dealt with by the administration. I have been playing prom before it was censored due to Garys beliefs but I never truly understood how far above it stood in terms of professionalism and moderation until I started heavily joining other germany rp communites. Anyway, none of this has directly addressed my actions ingame just my aftermath experiences that made me realise how much better things are on prom. I dont remember what exactly I did to get my second permaban but I imagine that it was something similar to my first permaban, then my 2 and half month ban which is more likely then not me kidnapping high ranking people and then shooting them. I do honestly regret doing these things not only because as all larpers know minges are annoying as hell to deal with but also because I realise now that I was "shitting where I eat" in a manner of speaking and all for some dumb low brow e-thrill that doesnt really end up accomplishing very much. Ive been larping since 2021ish so I actually DO know how to rp properly and I have done so in some pretty high ranking positions on prom in the past. This has just been me acting like a fool on a server that has given me 10x more enjoyment then any other germany rp server ive played combined. I understand that these words might not be very convincing especially with my prior perma and that extremely lengthy ban so im not going to be surprised if this appeal gets rejected but I just want it to be known that im genuinely sorry for my past dumbass actions. I lay here prostrate awaiting your judgement. All I wish for now is to have some GENUINE rp so I can have GENUINE fun while not being mired by petty crap that nobody in their right mind should care about and I swear that I shall not knowingly transgress the server rules again if I were to be unbanned.
