You can enjoy reading the hundreds of pages from these fine PDF files. Imperial German Army 1914-1918, Organization, Structure, Orders of Battle, by Herman Crom Germany Arm Handbook, APRIL 1918, introduction by David Nash

Soldat was only for those disgusting Saxons. Prussian Infantry (which the German Empire was based around except in Bavaria) was Musketier and then Schütze. Schütze only became Grenadier when Big H man released some order in ~1943?

No, do not worry, this is actually correct! The Army's ranks are the only faction to have a SIXTH enlisted rank (besides the now dismissed navy). You can read about the rank tables on the server's official google sheet. Rank Table

+1 Have been threatened with notes for trying to defend my actions in a staff sit. Would not want to hold a record solely because of some retarded staff just wanting to wrap things up instead of hearing a player out.

If it's so shit why are you trying to claw back.

Removal of Weight from Identification & Player Creation
Virwëtztut replied to Virwëtztut's topic in Suggestions
I didn't mean for all physical traits, just weight. Apparently weight is something you see a couple of United States IDs. [Probably so you aren't accidentally directed to weigh stations] On the same coin, NSB will detain a military member if they forgot to change their weight when their character was made. Not every person will take the time to sit through the character creation menu on their first join of the server and would rather get out into the environment as soon as possible. 1. Realism only applies if it’s accurate. In most real systems, weight is not a reliable identifier—passports don’t list it, many IDs omit it, and even when listed it’s almost always outdated. 2. True, but the reverse also applies: having weight on IDs discourages descriptive RP because people rely on the number instead of engaging with character description. 3. That’s exactly why weight on IDs is problematic. A description like “muscular build” or “slim” is flexible, fits RP. 4. It’s not about grasping—it’s about removing unnecessary friction for new players. Height can stay; it’s stable, actually affects appearance, and useful. Weight is variable, invisible, and often misused. 5. You wouldn't be able to change where you're from on a whim. At the moment you can't even change your ID so that if your weight is wrong, you can't fix it. Don't know how you got that take from the question. Good for you? I guess it's good that the policing agencies in your area trust you not to eat too much so that the information is still valid. When you make your character your height actually effects your model. If you put 6'2: You're going to be taller than another male_07. If you put 5'5: You're going to be shorter than another male_07. I guess I should specify, I have seen military police and NSB detain other members of factions for their weight. -
The Removal of Weight from Identification & Player Creation Reasons of Removal: 1. IDs are not full medical charts. Identity cards whether they be passports, drivers' licenses, or military IDs do not hold information like weight solely because it is one of the thing in someone's appearance that is bound to fluctuation. 2. Provides easy targeting. Players often use ID weight to make snap judgments about the body, even when roleplay doesn't support it. It becomes a sort of "stat check" rather than RP conversation. Even if your description says you are of a different weight. (Your papers say 50 pounds, but you have 126 pounds in your description.) 3. Confusion to new players. There have been plenty of times where new players have been turned away from factions due to a weight that they might've not seen or forgotten to change. It becomes a bit of a hassle to have a recruit go make a new character and come back if their weight is not substantial. This may also deter certain people from wanting to participate in the Roleplay. Benefits of Removal: - Makes an ID cleaner and more realistic. - Encourages descriptive RP rather than stats being numbers in desc. - Reduces using someone's description that would be invisible outside of physical presence. - Less Friction for New Players not understanding the questions being asked or their importance. - Allows for a question to replace it, such as: Date of Birth/Place of Birth. Possible Rebuttals: 1. "It adds realism." As I have stated before: Most identification cards regardless of country do not include weight because it changes so often. RP immersion is better served by letting characters on their own. 2. "It helps identify better." Policing agencies can already rely on height, physical descriptions, or player model. Weight on an ID is unreliable for these scenarios. 3. "It's harmless flavor." If it were truly harmless, then it wouldn't be an arrestable offense. Additional Information: Potentially, we could change weight entirely to a field/drop down question like: "What build do you have?" - Stocky - Slim - Broad

He has a interesting selection of porn he shares on his server. Interesting but not bad. +1

+1 He's alright, I guess.

Well. I would hope that the buildings we already have would get reworks. A lot of them have details that hinder businesses and their builders. Assets that could be removed so that we could have a blank canvas.
-
Not following the formula of the suggestions nor presenting a great argument. In theory, it would be great to have such things as lower advertisements but then minges. In theory, it would be great to have more buildings but then we have to have a active map developer and a server that can stand the weight of said map.

https://medal.tv/games/garrys-mod/clips/kbAunJ0xKoShCFIOw?invite=cr-MSw0bVUsMjEyMjA2NzUx As shown in the video above, as I was going to make a copy of the newspaper using the newspaper model (models/foodnhouseholditems/newspaper1.mdl), it did not work. Instead spawning the entity as a blue clipboard (models/props_lab/clipboard.mdl). It would be kind of neat for this little fix to be made. [Sorry for the music playing in the background.]

Civilian Face Model In The Uniform (Suit) Models And Blue Party Models
Virwëtztut replied to cutz's topic in Suggestions
Doesn't this technically already exist? I am not quite getting the suggestion because if you go to skin at the very bottom it DOES change your facial features. Just not in very drastic ways though. With a lot of the models, they are already being pushed to their limits. I don't think adding anything more is really that important unless it's a big change. [Not all words have to be capitalized.] -
Description of the Idea: From Bars to Cars, we have nothing to fill the quiet that looms across the city. We should bring back some charm, something that lures in the common folk to a building or helps drown out a dull drive. Music disc, Gramophones, and other era-friendly devices for players to use as in-game items. Each music tape could contain a different song. We've had it before, we can have it again. Why should this be added? Builds a unique atmosphere and ambiance. Music will be able to add so much to the gameplay whether its during a meeting between NHC or a local restaurant filling in the chatter of its guest. It also would allow players to collect disc for certain kinds of music. + Whoreson could also potentially make money off of it by making people pay for custom disc. I know that's important. What negatives could this have? People could throw radios into military bases and have it on the loudest volume. Daryl Dixon style torture. Additional Information: I would personally give up my son's university funds for a Steven Sparrow disc from Whoreson if given the chance.

-1 As mentioned in your other one. Too unstable, either hurts the server or its playerbase.

Has there ever been a suggestion for a weather system?
Virwëtztut replied to Dr Trevor Lawrence PHD's topic in Suggestions
-1 This will never work. Running certain programs like Atmos will always cause issues for either the server itself or members of its playerbase. Somethings are just not meant to be. -
+1 more fun for making bets and passing time with my fellow late night LARPers

Baumer-Strauße

Could definitely fund this easily with a Prometheus Fire Sale. We haven't seen any sort of donation store sales in quite a bit. NOT EVEN FOR CHRISTMAS!

I can see your issue with the mechanic. I personally think there should be a timed animation like the fishing mechanic (but shorter) to it rather than just the immediate open sound. Make it have some sort of soundclip at well.
-
Another popular NutScript server already has this mechanic. I don't see why we couldn't have such a thing.

-1 You're reserve troops. You're reserve troops in a city environment. You know how outrageous it would be to have lowflying aircraft hosting jump training in a city? Get real. No jump pay for you.
