Basic Information Section IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format: -Paul Hager, Oberdienstoffizier: As the Chief of the KAD he is in charge of the daily runnings, recruiting, and managing of the KAD. In addition, he is a minister without a portfolio and a part of the Military Security Council. He is responsible for helping to expand the labour ministries profile and aid in any way he can. Lastly, he is the Mégas Kastelános der Lotharingia (Steward) where he helps run the Duchy of Lotharingia under Josef von Hampstaphurd. How long have you been roleplaying?: I have been roleplaying for around 4 to 5 years, on Prometheus mainly but I have tried a couple of other servers. Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Notes: 6/14/24 RDM - I do not exactly remember how I got this note since it has been 2 years since I got it. But I must have thought or was spited by someone and wanted to kill them as revenge; however, it was seen as RDM, and I should have not let emotion get the better of me. 8/13/24 RDM | ban on next offence - For this one, I remember some details. I was messing with another friend and may have taken things a little far, so I was warned for killing him. For the future, I could avoid this by separating jokes from roleplay. 3/30/26 Meta Gaming - It said here that I used my position to attempt to punish someone under my command for what he did on a different character. Back then I did not see an issue with this since it was the same person playing a character; however, to avoid this, I must ensure that I do not carry consequences to someone from what they did on a different character. Bans: 3/29/24 RDM | PO - I don’t remember what I did to get this ban; however, I should’ve thought of the killing and had a roleplay reason to do it. 4/21/24 LTARP - I do not exactly remember why I got banned for this. However, I must make sure that I do not leave while tied unless I get permission. 5/11/25 RDM - For this, I was attempting to protect a group of high ranking government officials via shooting at a car that was attempting to run them over on the sidewalk. Therefore, I shot at the car and when the guy came out I shot him down as I saw him as a threat. However, I should have attempted to tie him instead of just shooting him. Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? I have some experience with Nutscript. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I am best fit to become part of the staff team because I am knowledgeable, dedicated to the playerbase, and will be dedicated to being a staff member. Through my time on the server, I have become very knowledgeable with the rules. I have both experienced and learned the rules through first hand experience, and will apply this when I am staff. Player experience is what keeps people coming back, and I am dedicated to improving and upholding it. From my time on the server, I have seen many people get dismayed for a variety of reasons. And because of this people have decided to leave the server. This means Minges win in harming the server. As such, if I become staff, I will be dedicated to ensuring that no player is mistreated or misrepresented. In addition to this, I will ensure that the quality of roleplay is not disturbed by those who wish to seek harm upon them. I will do this not only through taking tickets but being proactive where and when I can, overwatching events and gatherings, monitoring players, and informing new players of the rules rather than punishing them. If I become staff, I will put in endless effort and dedication. I will be dedicated to my role as staff not only for the improvement of roleplay experience, but to ensure that tickets are taken, may this be when other staff are busy during meetings, civil wars, or other events I will be there to help any player who needs a staff member. The staff members who are available while others are busy are those who are valued by the community. That is the staff member I will be if I become part of the staff. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: In my opinion the duties and responsibilities of staff is to prioritise the players. One such duty is getting rid of players who have no desire to roleplay on the server or wish to do others harm. Another duty is teaching others the rules of the server and how to roleplay correctly, may this be old players needing a refresher or new players unaware. Not every rule break demands a ban or severe punishment, sometimes the individual was lacking knowledge or was acting too hastily. As such it is the responsibility of staff to educate the player on what they did wrong and how to improve. This in turn improves the experience on the server for all. A final duty of staff is being the voice of reason. Some players have intense disagreements with each other and will target each other because of it and it will most likely end up in front of a staff member. Therefore, staff must be ready to listen to both sides and use reasoned judgement to make a decision. I did not have to try to detain the guy because I saw the guy murder someone so I just shot him. If I was wrong about not detaining someone first, I should be warned for RDM and not receive a pk; however, this whole situation only proves that the rp situation was still ongoing.

Why should you be un-PK'd?: I did not start the gun fight because I only continued a roleplay situation. I was in my police car driving down the road. Then I saw a man get killed on the streets. As a police officer, I responded to the situation and drove to where the murder occurred. Upon arriving I got out of my car and pulled out my luger. Then I shot the threat dead right there and then before he could shoot anyone else. Next thing I know some unknown assailant that was not involved in the situation shot me. In this situation I only continued a roleplay scenario because I was already involved in the situation before I shot my gun, I was responding to it as an officer, and the person who killed me did it for no reason. How I was involved in the situation was that I saw the murder and responded to it. At that moment I became part of the situation. When I arrived at the scene, I only continued the situation. As said previously, how I got involved into the situation was for a legitimate reason because I was an officer. As an officer I responded to the situation and did what I had to do in order to handle the situation. The person who killed me had no reason to shoot me. When I killed the murderer and later got shot, the person who shot me got involved for no reason and had no connection to anyone involved in the situation. Additional Information: N/A

Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: In the situation that I killed the guy for, I was protecting my VIP at the time which was the Finance Minister. He was in a group with people talking about stuff that I did not particularly care much about. Then a panzer came in with his car attempting to run over the whole group including my VIP then he stepped out of the car. After he stepped out, I felt he was still a threat and shot him dead instead of trying to detain him. I did this for three reasons. One I still threat he could be capable of hurting the group and my VIP. Second I was not close enough to ensure he would be properly arrested so I eliminated my threat. My third reason, an admin who was present for the situation was in civilian rp and then presumed to ban me. He was not impartial with his decision and was influenced by what he only saw and never gave me the chance to explain myself nor let me have a proper sit for banning me. In addition, I believe there is no clip nor any other evidence except the admin there to determine my ban. Therefore, I was eliminating a threat to my VIP and was not given a fair and proper trial to determine if I was rdming someone. Additional Information: I had no intention of rdming anyone and as for my history you can see I have not received a ban for a lengthy period of time except for today. I feel like it was unjust to ban me with this one occasion and with a biased admin within the group making the effort to ban me without a fair trial.

Watching this clip, I would concur that this should not be a pk for server reasons. First, you could argue the Gendarmerie started the gun fight since they were in the military base and confronted him. After which they threatened detainment and the enlisted Gendarmerie raised his gun. In response he shot first defending himself of clear potential harm that was clear in the present situation. Second they did not clearly state that they were going to arrest him. They made strong suggestions of such action but did not fully commit to attempting to first tie him or tell him fully that he WILL be arrested. Third, The person who killed him did not seem like he was a part of the initial gun fight so he may have won the initial gun fight but then got killed later in the confusion. Those are my reasons for why you could consider appealing this pk. I am simply stating my opinion and experience from about 4 years of playing on the server. May any admin take my view point into consideration when seeing this appeal, and thank you for reading this.
