Conner Bowden: A state official of the Finanzministerium, a man who is not well known throughout the community but is a hard worker. He looks over loans and payments that customers want to make on properties and is known to hunt down those who don’t pay their rent. How long have you been roleplaying?: On this server in particular about 2-3 months but I've roleplayed on different games in the past few years. Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Yes, twice. This was for MRDM and Fail RP. Both of these occurred very early on in my time on the server as I was getting familiar with the server and the rules. In both of these instances, I fully admitted to and apologized for my actions and made changes according to my behavior. Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? This is my first time applying for Staff on a Gmod server. I will say that I am a strong leader and coach on my high school athletics team, I am a reasonable and fair person, and I am confident I will fill my role adequately as staff. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team? Since the summer, I have been a part of this community, and during that time, I have come to enjoy the server itself and its members as well. In particular, I remember being impressed at how easygoing and friendly the admins were when I commenced ticketing. Such a welcoming setting made me wonder whether I will apply for staff in the future. The more time I spent on the server and with the players, the more my resolve to become a staff member grew. There are a few attributes I think I possess that would be quite suitable for the team. To begin, I’m very friendly and easy to get along with, which I believe is important when working with players, for example, in tickets. I’d aim to foster an atmosphere where people are listened to and are willing to support them, which I think will have a strong impact on improving player retention rates. Additionally, I am the kind of person who is able to be neutral and candid when it comes to tickets. I know the importance of being impartial and dealing with the situations at hand, be it an RDM report or any other case. Furthermore, I am a great communicator, which I believe is crucial for handling tickets and resolving conflicts effectively. I understand the importance of clear, concise, and respectful communication, whether I’m explaining a decision or providing guidance to players. I am also patient and detail-oriented, which allows me to thoroughly investigate issues and provide fair and balanced resolutions. I’m not afraid to take initiative, and I always strive to maintain a positive, professional attitude in all interactions. With these qualities, I believe I could contribute meaningfully to the team and help create a positive environment for all members of the community. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? The responsibilities ascribed to a staff member on this server are quite expansive. A reliable and trained staff member's roles include dealing with tickets and sit situations, which assist in mediating disputes between players. Such as Trolling Respeawning players or RDM, NLR, NITRP, and Civ Pk´s). The assistants assist in directing orders and absolutely whitelisting players to the relevant factions so that they are not instantaneously right into the roleplay of the server. Also, apart from performing these tasks, the duty of staff is to exceptionally manage wrangles and situations that can alter roleplays. It is imperative to stress that decorum must be observed at all times. All players' experiences must remain wholesome and unspoiled. Whenever you are dealing with the players, you need to be respectful and professional at all times, as a staff member, you represent the Prometheus Network, which directly relates to the server image. In all cases, the members of the staff are bound by the interest of the community and are to follow the orders of the senior members of the staff and any instructions that they are given. It is vital to respect the server's confines, for it promotes and ensures order and equality in enforcement. In addition, enough emphasis should be directed towards maintaining cordial relations with the players and providing assistance or guidance where required.

Appeal type: Apology After reflecting on my actions I have realized I am in the wrong here. Because still new to the server, it was my first time encountering a situation where I needed to leave in the middle of an important rp. I now have done some reflecting and realized I handled it in a poor way where I came off as rude to the players around me and dissmsiive of them. In the future, I will handle the situation much better and can only learn from my mistakes. I would like to extend an apology to the members involved with the situation and hope they can understand where I was coming from and why I acted the way I did. Lastly, I would like to both apologize and thank Hound for his understanding of the whole situation and for helping me realize how I came off to others.

While I understand where you are coming from, you were the one who brought up Pk, to which I replied that I didn't care about the character. Look, man, I have stuff going on in real life, which was one of the reasons I couldn't use my mic. I understand I broke Rp, and I own up to that; however, was the PK not enough of a punishment? If not, I'm asking if you could shorten the ban length or lift it completely, as I had no negative intent behind my actions and wasn't trying to grief any player's experience; I just had real-life circumstances going on. I apologize for my actions and am not trying to excuse the fact I broke rp; in my head, I did what I thought would wrap up the situation asap, even if that meant a pk because I have stuff going on. Lastly, I was talking about needing to leave before mention of a trial, and I wish you could look past the game and realize that I had things going on. In response to Lawson, your post proves my point; my messages were clear that my only goal was to wrap things up asap so I could deal with what I needed to. You can see I request as pk and ask to get sent on my way, showing I was simply trying to leave as fast as possible. The bottom line is this, I didn't have any intention to try to grief or break rp to ruin the experience for others and I think that is reflected in lawsons post. I own up to the fact I broke rp and in the future will act differently to wrap up things as soon as possible. Hound I hope you can put yourself in my shoes as a person who is less experienced with the server rules and was just trying to do what I could to leave the game.

I needed to leave the city urgently and was in a cell for questioning. I made a ticket to leave, and I explained that I was okay with a player PK, but I just had to leave the city. Upon hearing this, hound decided to pk me and give me a 7-day ban. I understand breaking RP is against severe rules; however, I can do so if I need to leave the city about a real-life matter. Furthermore, hound didn't even give me a chance to explain what was happening or call me in to talk; he just decided to pk me and give me a 7-day ban. My ban should be lifted; however, I am ok with the player PK; I shouldn't get banned for having an urgent matter in real life, and saying I broke RP because of that is insane to me. The ban could have been avoided if Hound had talked to me to see what was happening, but he decided not to. I would understand if I broke any rule, but this is unreasonable. I have real-life things I have to deal with, such as asking to leave and not breaking rp. In addition, a 7-day ban for doing so seems like overkill. I hope you can understand I have a real life to attend to, which is why I had to leave. My intention was not to break rp; I enjoy playing on the server and wouldn't intentionally try to break players' emersion. Hound idk who you are but hop off it will ya ubddy? Marshal, that's false. The group was cooking up drugs in the safe, and as an officer, it was my duty to come back; they shot at me first. That's a clear abuse of power by you for looking over those important facts and ignoring them in your report. In addition, I wasn't "mugging people randomly"; I was enforcing traffic laws, which you, as a mod, should know Lapo often does. However, based on your incompetence, it is no surprise you couldn't put that together. Next time, look thoroughly into a situation before banning someone. They were cooking up drugs, and they shot at me multiple times; as an officer, of course, I came by and tried to stop them. I recommend you learn how to do your job better.

This ban occurred without me being online; therefore, I could not reason and discuss what happened with an admin. Furthermore, attempts to reach out to the staff member who banned me have been neglected after sufficient time to respond has been given. I have had no chance to explain what happened as I am unsure what insistence resulted in the ban in the first place, which was a surprise. I hope this ban can be lifted because I am an active community member and firmly believe the 7-day ban was unjust and unclear. Thanks.
