I've been permanently banned most recently for talking incredible amounts of stupid shit about the server, but this occurred over a year ago and since then I have gotten no notes or warnings, let alone a ban; Even before the second ban, I haven't taken a ban since my first permanent one

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:

I've got plenty of good friends and I do my best to behave even when I'm goofing around; I seek to cause no collateral as a result of feelings towards other players and I have lots of experience with all kinds of people from my previous admin experiences.

I know the ins and outs of most nutscript moves and commands, I review guidelines and ask questions before I do things just to make sure I'm safe in every term, long and short. I'm quite happy how it is with the response time already, but I want to help and do things around here as well as what I'm already doing ingame. I wait a lot, so I've got the patience for tickets and I'm more than willing to hear people out on their situations. If there's a gray zone and I can't get any upper admin's advice, I'll play it safe for all parties involved. I don't want to risk hurting the experience for anyone who hasn't earned it, and I know more than well who the burden of evidence lays on.

Of course, being an old time player, I could use a little teaching on new things, but so far I've already looked over quite a few of the rules to make sure I'm not asking questions I should already know the answer to.  I don't mind taking on many tickets, in fact I enjoy helping people out as much as I can. I'm usually spending the majority of my time standing around or building something anyway, so whenever a ticket comes up, it'll more than likely be a break from doing nothing urgent to begin with. The only thing that might really slow me down ticket-wise would be a family emergency or a timed test, for college online.

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:

The responsibilities staff have on this server are to enforce and maintain a stable roleplay environment, where the rules are generally kept to, but there's some exception to make way for roleplay opportunity (with approval).

If somebody wants to be stupid and roleplay as a serial killer, they get told no. If somebody wants to kill someone after a mugging, such is the opportunity to both tell them no and teach them about muggings. I'd like to tell people these rules myself as staff and ensure the environment which these events happen under are fair.  I also want to prevent glitch abuse and punch minging, but being honest there's not much to complain about as staff has been keeping up pretty well, but I wouldn't mind picking up for them when they get exhausted, I'm sure enough stupid in one day will give anybody an aneurysm. I'm sure I'd meet quota in no time, as well.

Aside from rulebreakers, there's door factions to set, there's people to put in rank and uniform and other basic chores of staff that I'm happy to do, as from experience I noticed those were the slowest tickets to get taken despite being the fastest to do.

Notes: My staff name would be Bonkers. I use silly names across my characters because they're more iconic than the usual, and because they've become signature to me over the years. I understand that to prove certain things requires video evidence, and that I cannot take my own tickets or situations involving myself due to the conflict of interest.

Relax, Cooke E. Baker is supposed to be a very passive sort of char, the only fighting I do is to those that earn it

Edit: for elaboration, there's no random mugging, no raiding, no political alignment; it's all about the money, the brotherhood and whoever stands in the way of it

 

Also, Ohr Lapoe is a silly name, I know, but it's for the dedication to the faction after I got mugged three times in one day on Waffels; I decided the streets NEEDED to be safer after that
