Explain why you were PK'd:  I was flying a helicopter I had built myself for the demonstration of the Herald, who had authorized me to do so, because he was curious about its capacity/capability after seeing one get shot down earlier. I asked him if I could show him how it worked, and he said sure.

We started the flight in the airfield after making an advert about the flight itself, announcing the Herald's interests in it.

Why should you be un-PK'd?:  I had absolutely no idea I would get shot and PK'd for landing after the Herald said it was alright, I thought he had the authority to say that. Originally, I was going to land in the Lichterfeld's concrete flatland.

My interests in landing on the lawn of the Pantheon were solely to make for good roleplay, as I thought it was the Herald's authority to allow me to land there after he said so. I had no idea the IC significance of the Pantheon and I had absolutely no minge or stupid intent in landing there, I simply thought he could tell me to do that because of his position. He said over and over that he wanted to show the Kaiser this design and that it would be revolutionary in the war effort, so I felt proud and wanted to prove its worth, the invitation was my whole reason.

I had spent a lot of time developing Waffels and I have no intent of ever risking him over something as stupid as this, so please forgive this misstep.

Additional Information:  As Coffee said, I DID have a month of time on the server to learn about the pantheon, but the issue is that I never got a position that required me to be there, or involved with it, period. All I knew out of character was that this place was where people would get banned for being stupid and pushing the buttons. I had zero intent of being there without ever having to, because I knew it would have been a stupid endeavor to go somewhere that high profile and expect good things of it without purpose. 

The significance of Waffels' existence is in legal matters, inventions (aircraft, tanks, etc), interior designs (the law office, Chan Wei's office) and selling weapons as MoP. If I was aware of the fact the Herald couldn't authorize me being there, I wouldn't have gone there at all, I was just straight executed when I landed.

Hello I was the staff member who issued this PK.

The reasoning for this PK was because you flew a prop helicopter (which is a direct violation of the server rules) and chose to land it in the Pantheon the most secure and restricted area in the entire map with it being the personal residence and palace of the Kaiser.

You were then shot for this, which I found to be completely valid grounds for a PK considering the situation. Regardless of your intent, your actions resulted in a high level breach of the most restricted area in the server and the response you got was entirely appropriate.

If you had simply approached the Kaiser Guard base told them you had a meeting and went up to the Pantheon gate and again clearly stating that you were invited by the Herald and awaiting permission to enter for a meeting, this entire situation would have been completely avoided.

Instead you decided to be absolutely ridiculous and fly a prop Helicopter into the Pantheon which resulted in IC consequences for you.

I would also like to cite the PK guidelines for some more guidance in the decision of the staff involved.

 

PK-Guidelines

The Following is NOT Permitted

Purposefully subjecting someone into a situation which puts them under valid PK guidelines.

Not using PKs as a LAST resort.

Attempt to resolve the matter using other means which don't involve PKing first, unless it is deemed impossible, and agreed upon by the approving staff member.

On approval of UA+ [PK]

For sure, you can do anything with the approval of UA+, but in the circumstance I've been placed in, there really isn't a good reason to be approved to PK. This was a stupid way to die, without any kind of malice towards any individuals or roleplay involved. Being shot dead after landing, absolutely no threat posed or presented, only a trigger happy guard with shotgun and an enormous disregard to the Herald's orders or a hatred towards myself, it seems. That might be a valid reason to shoot, tresspassing, but it wasn't a raid by any means nor an intentional disregard for my own life, I had absolutely no idea I was in danger.

I'd like a response to my other comment. Why are you surprised about this when I KNOW I've told you not to fly around in prop builds?

The Herald spoke, and I remember as one of the men in the helicopter was blasting Fetty Wap over the mic, a state member, he (Herald) said in earshot of the men in front of the Pantheon gate that we were going to land on the lawn. 

I do NOT know the procedure for announcing myself to the Pantheon nor did I have any idea what the Pantheon was aside from MAYBE a ceremonial building, as again, I never had the chance to find it out. 

The fact that if this place is supposed to be the most secure, restricted area of the server, and I was allowed to land on the lawn, when I'm SUPPOSEDLY a valid target,

WITH THE AUTHORITY OF THE HERALD TO LAND, AND BEING TOLD TO LAND,

I entirely thought I was in the clear, because of the assurances given. I even announced my flight with the Herald to learn of the denial, the acceptance or any qualms with the flying conditions. This was done entirely in his favor.

I felt pressured to show them the good of my intent, because I knew and trusted my creation's stability performancewise and operationally. I was also largely left alone by the people who I knew were staff, for whatever reason, so I felt more emboldened by how unbothered they were with the creation. I had no intent to use the helicopter casually outside of this instance, because the Herald is an important man.

Specifically, he was praising it over and over, telling me how the Kaiser would want to see it himself, and when I asked if we should land it in the Lichterfeld, quoting him; "Fuck it, we ball"

Edit: When we actually GOT to the lichterfeld, note, he did say I should land it in the lawn of the pantheon instead, make it a cool landing
