Gustav Mannheim: Currently Gustav is a member of the NSB, he is part of the administrative branch that has their focus on internal affairs. We make sure documents meet the NSB standards and mentor people if needed. Also we safeguard the integrity of the NSB and discipline agents if it is required. In the past (before the switch to imperial) Gustav has been part of numerous factions and departments. He has been Chief of the wehrkreis, chief of the LSS, Chief of the Feldgendarmerie and Feldjägers (when they were under the RKG), Inspektor of SiPo & SD, Regional Direktor and chief of Amt-IV inside the RSHA.

How long have you been roleplaying?: If i recall it correctly ive been role-playing for almost 5 years.

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: I have received a 3 day ban for RDM years and years ago. And about 2/3 years ago i received a perm ban for breaking global rule 6.  I've learned to take responsibility for actions, and made sure that i would never involve myself in an infraction again.

What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?

I have been part of numerous RP projects to develop my knowledge of nutscript, staffing and to extend my network of competent and friendly players. I have been Co-Owner on Project DDR, Vendetta netwoks and Krupp Networks. I also was GA on Athena networks. 

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:

I believe my experience in staffing has reached a point where it can truly benefit Prometheus Networks in a meaningful way. I have always seen myself as a calm, level-headed, helpful, and serious role-player, dedicated to creating Role-Play situations that will be remembered for years by those involved. Over the years, I have become well-known within the Gmod RP community by taking action rather than just speaking words, and because of that, I am respected by many fellow players. I often have nostalgic conversations with long-time community members, but players also know exactly what to expect from me as a staff member when rules are broken.

My staffing style is fair, helpful, and unbiased, though I can be strict when the situation calls for it. We can be the best of friends in and out of character, but if you break server rules or behave in a way that disrupts the community, I will not hesitate to take disciplinary action.

Having been part of almost every faction, I fully understand how RP works and why a strong staff team is so important. In my view, a good staff team steps in only when situations begin to escalate in ways that are harmful to the server. Role-play should always be player-driven, but never completely player-controlled. This balance has been one of the greatest strengths of Prometheus during all the years I’ve played here. I’ve always respected how Prometheus is managed, and it makes me proud to see many of my old friends continue to develop their skills as staff, dedicating themselves to protecting and nurturing the RP landscape.

Long story short, I believe and I'm confident that my years of experience and dedication to create a healthy and engaging role-play environment, combined with my previous staffing experience on other servers, will be a great asset to Prometheus Networks. I look forward to the opportunity to join the “referee” team and contribute to the success of the community.

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:

As a moderator and member of the staff team my responsibilities will mainly be to enforce the server rules and to assist the players with common tickets like whitelisting people, RDM and/or questions they have concerning server rules and other out of character questions. As a Staff member I'm also responsible for creating and maintaining a friendly and open environment to ensure players feel welcomed in the community. A member of staff is a role-model to other players and its expected and required to set the standard and to be an example to other players. A staff-member should never be involved in role-play breaking situations that can give Prometheus Networks a bad name and should always be discrete when talking about other community members. Under no circumstances should a staff-member encourage or involve with other players to resort to rule breaking actions.  

Because of the experience I've gained in Gmod RP player and staff community i know what the standards are and what competencies a staff member should posses to be a good staff member.
