Explain why you were PK'd: shot in a gunfight

Why should you be un-PK'd?: i was not informed that being shot would result in a PK and I have seen others get shot and not be PK'd

Additional Information: I apologize for not knowing and will keep the possibility of PK in mind. Thank you for your time
