While I appreciate your apology, you need to understand that actions have consequences. You initiated a large-scale gunfight without any legitimate reason, and situations like that carry serious consequences under our rules. In fact, another player was banned at the very same checkpoint less than 15 minutes before you for doing the exact same thing.
Specifically, as I was overwatching the situation, the Landespolizei officer was in the process of switching from the camera back to his weapon. That does not constitute a threat that justifies initiating a gunfight. Simply seeing another player transition from one piece of equipment to another is not grounds to open fire. Most people are aware that equipping or switching to a weapon results in it being pointed, thats just how the game works and most of the time people will safety withing a few seconds.
Trying to justify starting a gunfight over a standard gameplay mechanic is silly.
At some point, players have to recognize that choosing to start a gunfight without justification is a decision, and the consequences that follow are a direct result of that decision. I hope you take this as a learning opportunity and make better decisions in similar situations going forward.
