Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:

I believe I should be picked for the Prometheus Networks staff team for a few different reasons. First off, this is something I genuinely want to do as I care about the server and the community around it. I understand that being staff is not about holding power over people, it is about helping players, dealing with situations fairly, and making sure everyone is having an enjoyable time while roleplaying. I fully understand that my role as a staff member holds priority over my in-character roleplay, and I feel I am ready to accept the role.

I also applied around 2 months ago, and since then I’ve spent a lot of time improving myself as a player and becoming a stronger applicant overall. Back when I first applied, I only had around 2 days of playtime, but since then I’ve pushed that up to over 7 days and became much more involved within the server. During that time I also became the Feldjager Chief, which is the. That has helped me gain leadership experience, improve how I handle situations in-character, and has taught me how important communication and professionalism are when dealing with other people.

On top of that, I already have previous Garry’s Mod staffing experience from another RP server at the rank of admin. I handled player reports, rule enforcement, and disputes between players. That experience taught me how important it is to stay patient, neutral, and calm during sits, even when situations get heated, and I believe it will pertain towards staff representation on Prometheus.

Another reason I think I would be a good fit is I have been around the server for about two years and know how almost every aspect of it works. I know the rules, I understand the expectations, and I have a good understanding of the RP environment here. With this experience, I believe it would work hand-in-hand with working as a staff member.

I also understand that there are times where the staff team can become overwhelmed with tickets, leading to long wait times for players. If accepted, I would do my best to help reduce that by actively taking sits whenever possible and making sure players receive assistance quickly, especially at non peak hours that I play at when there is either only 1 or no staff online. I have complete faith in my ability to handle tickets with both haste and accuracy. 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:

 

There are many duties and responsibilities as a staff member you have to abide by, and stay true to. One of these is keeping up with ticket quota. I am extremely active on the server, and I am also active during the down times when tickets are rarely able to be taken because of the lack of staff members. I have complete faith in my ability to go above and beyond with ticket quota, both hitting it as well as surpassing it. Another responsibility is the professionalism that the staff team must show. Staff members are a tight knit group within Prometheus that are entrusted with special privileges. I will absolutely uphold this trust given. A big issue I have noticed during my time roleplaying, is the inappropriate names that break the server rules as well as the GMOD rules. I will very often run through the names of all factions to make sure that I change any of these names. With these duties in mind, I will uphold the imagery of the staff team.
