Basic Information Section

Hauptmann James Teller- As a Hauptmann in the Feldjagers, my role is to recruit new members, train current members and inform them on the laws of the city and how to enforce them. It is also my duty to assist the High Command of the Feld and Reserve Army to maintain Military Discipline, as well as track down law breakers and deserters and bring them to justice.

Grenadier, Bjorn Teller. A grenadier in the Kaiserguard, His main duties are to protect royal family members and assist the Command in keeping a secure and safe area for Royalty and VIP’s.

How long have you been roleplaying?: About a Year with a couple month’s break in between.

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: No, I have received none in my time roleplaying.

Staff Knowledge Section
What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? I do not have any previous experience, however I am very open to learning.

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: 

 I believe myself to be a fairly level headed and honest person who only wants to better the experience for everyone on the server. I think logically and fairly in tough situations taking in both sides of a situation before coming to a conclusion.

 I am also a very active member of the Server, with Prometheus being the only server I play on and the only one I’ve ever taken seriously enough to consider being a part of a staff team. I am also active during hours where most aren’t due to my IRL job being overnight. I am on during peak hours as well as in the early mornings allowing for the early risers to be able to recruit and deal with issues that may arise. In total, I believe I have the ability to strive as a staff member both in fairness and in making the server a more fun place for everyone to enjoy. 

My main character is well known around the Military and is known to be both honest and fair but isn’t afraid to ruffle some feathers and make people angry if they aren’t following the laws. I plan to bring that energy into being a member of staff. I want to be known both in character and out that anyone can always come to me with an Issue and I will deal with it to the fullest extent of my power both fairly but also laying my foot down when needed. 

I also have the ability to look at the bigger surrounding picture of an issue and use my head to figure out the best course of action when handling disputes. I am also a quick learner, I am very interested in new things such as how to use commands and the console better, as well as learning new rules and situations that may arise. I can also use common sense and critical thinking when it comes to situations where I’m getting multiple conflicting stories from multiple parties. Making a final conclusion based on the information presented to me by using context clues, as well as past experiences.

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:  

I believe the duties of a member of staff are to assist the server in running as smoothly as possible, while also stepping in to deal with issues that may arise with people who do not wish to follow the rules. It is the responsibility of staff to answer tickets quickly and efficiently to maximize both fun and server health. Staff also have to be open to criticism from their peers based on their calls in certain situations, while also having to provide valid and fair reasoning to the players they have dealt with, should one of them appeal the issue. Staff also have the responsibility to respond quickly to issues that may arise on the forums if they are needed. A huge responsibility of members of staff is to hold their staff obligations to a higher priority than their roleplay character. With my current situation in roleplay, I am not needed at every situation. Therefore, I have the ability to jump onto my staff character during high intensity situations and handle the tickets that may pile up.
