Explain why you were PK'd: breaking fear rp

Why should you be un-PK'd?: i was pk'd for breaking fear rp while behind the church during a civil dispute i was getting chased by a panzer 2 marines and a Feld Jager when i hear a pistol shot go off behind me
during this entire time i had my mp40 out off safety and was running away when i heard the pistol shot i took it as them initiating a gunfight and turned around and attempted to shoot them i was then gunned down
I was later brought to a sit to be pk'd for fear rp i do not think this i though that this wouldn't be a pk as they did not try and surround me as i was running and instead shot a bullet at me although i did turn around and shoot that was after they shot
I did not think this was going to be a pk due to the rule that used to be in place i apologize for my actions and understand now how that could warrant a PK

i was also under the impression that a rule that stopped existing a year ago was still a thing the rule was like if you have a gun out off saftey and they also do its not pk able
i do understand if you do not wish to un pk me as i had a lapse of judgement but i am asking if possible can i get a name PK and rank reduction
