Hi @LionKing1975 Thanks for making a PK-Appeal. After reviewing the discussion, it appears you involved yourself with a Mugging-Situation, and died in the insuing action. I see the argument of intervening as a joke, this is recognized, but you did intentionally put your characters life at risk by getting yourself involved. If you had passed up the situation and left it alone, your character would still be alive. This is a case of making a decision, the conscious decision of pointing your firearm at an Armed man during a mugging, which resulted in you being shot and killed. In the case of the mugger, had he shot you just for witnessing, this appeal would have been completely different. However, I am moving forward with the decision that your character will remain PK'd because of your actions, please take the time to read up on the rules and regulations as pasted below, to avoid this sort of death in the future. Remember, everything you do in character as a joke or not is still in character, you made a decision and died as a consequence of it. My bans I cant even remember but most likely VDM and RDM, I've gotten notes for prop blocking apparently when trying to make a road block so people don't fly into others at like 1000mph. The latest one was about month ago for both a ban and notes. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I'm quite the quick and determined learner, I am open to learning through experience and written text. Anything you can Need from me, I can learn, adapt and complete quite quickly. I’m also good at putting my ideas into words, and can easily explain what I'm thinking or want done to someone else so that they can understand in the best way possible. I’m quite terrific at handling arguments or fights with people, because I listen to both sides of the story making it as fair as possible. I can listen to, their reasons, and proof, and from all of that I can determine what punishment is fit for the situation at hand. Also, another thing that I think helps me being better than the other candidates is my time and dedication I've spent with the server and many of its members. I first joined about 1 a year ago and since then, I've spent about two days on this current map, my activity did go down because of some depression but ever since I've gotten help my activity has sprung up. I try to spend a lot of my free time on the server both for fun and entertainment and Id like to further that and help people here by becoming staff, and my insane amount of time and experience roleplaying and learning how different factions and departments work really help me accomplish that. I know a lot about the functions of the server and their members and I am confident that I can use my knowledge to assist people complete their wishes and goals on the server. [150 Words or more]: The job of the staff team is to teach and enforce the rules and guidelines of the community. The staff team must handle the tickets made by players. The moderators deal with all sorts of tickets ranging from whitelisting people into a faction to dealing with RDM, FailRP and NITRP tickets. They also deal with Civilian PK's. They are the first step into being an example roleplayer for the community. They are held to a higher standard than a user or donator. The higher you make it in the staff team the more responsibilities you get. For example in the PK guidelines the higher rank you have the more authority you're trusted with. As a Senior moderator, you can PK Government Officials to a certain rank, while Administrators can do all government PKs except Generals which a reserved for Upper Administrations. On one random evening I was playing on a CO character and hanging around with some enlisted, I don't remember much of the instance but I know a huge argument was going on about whether someone was trespassing or not, I was kind of just standing around and watching the enlisted argue which I know was a mistake on my part for not controlling the situation as a CO, at that point in time I did not want to be involved with whatever was going on. It started getting out of hand so some people got banned and the argument was put to a stop. After that I'm aware that the same group of people started harassing the server owner and UA in the Prometheus discord server, I didn't have anything to do with that but mostly everyone got banned from the discord server and gmod server including me. I acknowledge and apologize for my mistake of not handling the IC situation properly but the whole discord server thing was out of my hands and not related to me. I enjoy playing on this server and hope I can get unbanned, there is a lot I've wanted to do RP wise and hope I can get another shot at the server with a new clean slate. I'm Not sure why, tho as in the appeal I made instead of addressing any of my points, he decides to bring up that I "dont care about playing and just want to kill everybody" which is just flat out untrue. Earlier that same day I and the other 91st had been guarding the general as he went to victory hall. He then brings up the fact that the vast majority of the 91st honer guard, who either got banned or fucked from a GOD MODE admin who was involved in a active RP interaction and in fact was the one who engaged the interaction itself, decided to shit on aforementioned GOD MODE admin. While not the nicest, it has nothing to do with the ban for MRDM. He then mentions the name of the clip I used which is also unrelated to the topic. The only thing even seemingly related to the topic at hand was this "I am unsure on what you dont understand that in a situation where you were all retards and it was being addressed you gun down EVERYONE in the clip". I'm unsure of what he does not understand, When someone in one of the highest ranked positions (From an RP perspective) says that and I will once more quote " I think we do a Purge, I think we're gonna start doing a purge now. Ah lets see, It was mostly the Goldstein people so I think probably we start with them, I think they're gonna die". With SS at his back and a few MPs would not be considered an "active threat" the rules literally say "There are two types of threats, an 'Active Threat' and an 'Idle Threat'. Players may kill for an active threat, but they may not kill for an idle threat. The difference between the two is SITUATIONAL". And for any who say that I was not a Goldstein so I'm not at mortal risk. He said "we start with them, I think they're gonna die" which obviously imply's purge=death and that hes only starting with them so everyone including me was at risk of immanent death. In the end its insane that the same guy that banned us (not me directly but also sorta me) is the same guy who is GOD MODE in the clip. And then he denies my Appeal and sends me here. This ban is for hurting feelings not MRDM. TBH I don't even know why I'm bothering with this as I'm reporting the guy who handles the reports and has already demonstrated that he is corrupt and will abuse his position as an admin in game or the community manager in the forums.
