Description of the idea: Basically, I would love to see the Heckler and Koch MP5A3 and G3 Battle Rifle added to the server when the MITHC update is released. Would also be pretty cool too if we could get foreign weapons like the SVD Dragunov, Remington 700 BDL, and Winchester 1887. Why should this be added?: In the MITHC show, the Germans were seen using the Heckler and Koch MP5A3 submachine gun and the Heckler and Koch G3 Battle Rifle. Both of these weapons are historically accurate since the G3 was used in service in 1959 by the German Bundeswehr. However, the MP5 wasn't in development until 1964 (MITHC takes place in '62) and started being produced in 1966 (probably will be irrelevant though since stuff can be made up about how since we won, we've made massive technological improvements over the years and made early weapon prototypes to be used or something). For the weapon pack we currently use in the server, we can still keep it implemented in the new timeline since the American German forces in the show were using outdated weapons such as the Kar98 and the MP 40. What negatives could this have?: Trying to find the appropriate Arc CW weapon pack that fits the server best alongside the current one we use. As for sniper rifles, that might be a tricky one to debate since anyone could get access to them. However, I think a good solution to this is that we only let Ministry of Procurements (or someone equivalent, I haven't been keeping track of state in the server) sell them to Military and MOI, or have the MOI impose strict firearm laws and requiring a specific license to own one and have the NSB, LAPO and/or the Gendarmerie enforce it (for IC roleplay purposes, I know firearm licenses and laws are already a thing but you probably get what I mean). Additional information: I don't remember all the guns used in the TV series but would still be cool to see these weapons used in the update. Great effort but I think we are finding out that government role play will always prevail in a setting like this. All it takes is for 1 faction to get pissed off to destroy a criminal org

I think instead of being argumentative, this is where you apologize for breaking the server rules and state that you will try to do better in exchange for your appeal being accepted considering you don't have a lengthy ban history this could be a learning moment.

Hello, I am Governor, the staff member that banned you for violating General Rule 35, which is the guideline for an unapproved raid. This raid was not approved by UA, which seems to not be contested. Furthermore, while this group of 6-7 people were organizing, I and the other staff member present got the necessary steam id's, and you were included. Regardless of whether or not you specifically shot someone, you violated GR35 in that you took part in an unapproved raid, and even went so as to far as to supply weapons. Ask yourself this question, could this unapproved raid that resulted in MRDM have happened if you weren't involved? The answer is no, and therefore you were punished. In your response to MomsMom's post, you pointed out that one other person who supplied weapons was not punished, but this is in fact not true. I requested that MomsMom bring him into a separate sit afterwards, and from my understanding it was no longer in my control whether or not he would specifically be punished. Also.. "Also all I did was show them were the MOI was. I gave them no weapons. No nothing." and "Me and this guy bought guns for civilians" are the complete opposite phrases, you were clearly not a passive observer.

Description of the idea: The current weapons sound boring as hell, this's a way to make things interesting when it comes to shooting stuff. Why should this be added?: From what I’ve seen and heard, the new map appears to be an edited version of Southside, which the original map on it's own is absolutely fucking massive. And if there’s going to be a neutral zone somewhere on the new map, then that map combined with that area alone is going to be huge. This's gonna help with actually identifying where and what is going on anywhere on the server. In a map this large, sound should matter. What negatives could this have?: Needs tuning to avoid being overwhelming or ear-piercing. Additional information: The Addon itself almost completes and works with every weapon pack that has been made, ArcCW included. Description of the idea: Introduce car bombs that allows players to plant explosive devices inside vehicles. These devices can be triggered via timer, remote detonation, or ignition-based activation. Why should this be added?: Fitting for the MHIC themes of covert violence, insurgencies and other themes that can mentioned, it's also another way to actually kill people without just blowing their head off because that's getting boring. It was also a popular tool in New York's 60's, which I assume where MIHC will be set in. What negatives could this have?: Risks of minging with it or overuse (which could be fixed limited to Admin/UA approval only) and performance impacts if poorly optimized. Additional information: Throw in tiers of damage levels, so one bomb can be used for sabotage only, while the other is made for assassinations. And throw in some defusal mechanics

Description of the idea: Introduce a more consistent PK system where player bodies persist after a /pkactive death happens. And said body can be interacted with, instead of a random ragdoll being spawned in by staff. Alongside this, implement a basic forensics system that allows investigators to examine bodies, scenes, and evidence (cause of death, time of death, weapon type, fingerprints/dna on body, etc.). This would make PK's more interesting than what it currently is. Why should this be added?: Makes PK's feel meaningful, rather than abrupt or forgettable, good RP opportunities for investigating and administrative branches (security, command, medical, intelligence, etc.), it adds immersion, especially during major incidents or internal conflicts, consequences have a feel to them without relying purely on OOC explanations. What negatives could this have?: Could increase staff workload if not clearly structured, could also just kill off or risk slowing down RP if it drags on for too long. Additional information: The system doesn’t need to be overly complex, simple tools and guidelines would be enough, and clear time limits on investigations would prevent stagnation.

shooting out of car windows sounds like it would benefit roleplay from multiple perspectives. Crime families and government factions could shroud their identities in a vehicle leading to more anonymity and investigative work in assassinations. not sure how feasible it is to implement this though

This seems like something that would be too big to operate. A stock market implies that there would have to be multiple companies that exist simultaneously and are ready to compete. Sure, the stock market itself would influence people to begin making their own companies, but the server seems incapable of holding live businesses for more than a couple weeks (there are outliers to this).

Instead of your gun immediately being drawn and ready to fire, implement an extended animation (or increase weapon draw time) indicating that someone is pulling their weapon out. Sort of like how the GTA roleplay servers. If this is not possible, design weapons where they are always drawn out on safety no matter what state the weapon was before putting it away.

Description of the idea: Working payphones on the streets or somewhere else. Why should this be added?: Adds dept to the immersion and little mechanics like this makes rp more enjoyable. What negatives could this have?: Breaking or being too difficult. Idk im not a Gmod coder. Additional information: I think it would be a cool idea for anonymous threats or jobs from the crime and civilian side.

So why wasnt that other guy banned that i was with, you guys said "oh your fine" when HE GAVE THEM THE GUNS but im the one to get banned I was a passive observer, I watched this happen, that is a passive observer. Also all I did was show them were the MOI was. I gave them no weapons. No nothing.

I was called over by Governor for assistance, as it involved 6-7 people, while this situation was actively unfolding and observed the events in real time. Based on what I personally witnessed and reviewed at the scene, the ban was issued appropriately. You were present with the group and assisted by supplying weapons to civilians and moved them toward the Ministry of the Interior. While you may not have fired a weapon yourself, your actions directly contributed to the breaking of server rules. You assisted in guiding the civilians to the MOI and remained with the group while the unauthorized raid took place. At no point did you attempt to disengage, report the situation, or distance yourself once it became clear that the civilians were preparing to attack the MOI, with you leading the way. Remaining on scene and directing movement toward the target constitutes participation, regardless of whether damage logs show you firing a weapon. Statements made during the incident, including directing the group toward the MOI, show your involvement in an unapproved raid that resulted in MRDM. For these reasons, your claim of being a passive observer is not supported by what staff observed during the MRDM / RAID.

Additional Information: Ive been playing on the server for a good amount of time now and ive supported the server and i am a active roleplayer in the server so i would not do something stupid
