I acknowledged these mistakes and have since taken greater caution to prevent them from happening again; however, I have never received a ban. I have never been a staff member in GMod; however, I have held staff roles in other games. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: The main reason I believe I would be a strong addition to the staff team is my commitment to supporting the community by handling tickets and helping ensure that roleplay continues with minimal disruption. I’m an active member of the server and available during both peak and low-activity hours, which I believe will directly benefit both the staff team and the player base. Consistent staff coverage during off-hours is just as important as during peak times, and I’m regularly present for both. I want to contribute to maintaining a fair, organized, and enjoyable environment on the server. Over my time on Prometheus, I’ve taken part in a wide range of roles and scenarios, which has helped me understand how the server operates and what players expect from staff. I’m reliable, consistent, and focused on handling responsibilities properly. I also understand the importance of staying composed and clear-headed in situations where players may be upset or rules are in question. While I may not be the most experienced applicant when it comes to staffing in GMod, I adapt quickly and am confident in learning new systems and procedures. This includes responding to tickets submitted by the community and addressing various issues and rule violations as they arise day-to-day. I understand the importance of maintaining professionalism and respect at all times. I'm confident in my ability to do so, both during staff duties and while roleplaying on my characters. I aim to set a positive example for others on the server to follow. As mentioned earlier, I believe it is important not only to enforce the rules but also to educate players when appropriate and necessary. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe you should pick me for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team because I have been apart of the community for a while now, and while I've been here I have made a variety of new friends and acquaintances and had lots of different experiences and memories which I wouldn't of had if it wasn't for this server and I wish to give back to the server by becoming apart of the Prometheus Networks Staff Team. One of the main reasons that I am applying is that I care about the server. I enjoy being on the server, the roleplay on the server and the people on the server. I want to make sure that both new and old players will also enjoy the server like I do and I will do this by ensuring that the server runs smoothly by getting rid of the minges who wish to disrupt the roleplay and helping those who need it out. Another reason you should pick me for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team is because I want to protect the player base and keep the server fair and enjoyable for all. I've seen how all it takes is a few people to start breaking the rules can just ruin the roleplay for everyone and I want to become part of the staff team to stop this and make sure they are dealt with properly. I also enjoy keeping things in order and making sure that the rules are followed because I know how important rules are in keeping servers thriving and growing. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: In my own opinion, staff have a variety of duties and responsibilities. Their main duty is to police the server, this is done by ensuring everyone is following the rules by taking tickets and punishing rule breakers. However, they also have a responsibility to make sure roleplay remains enjoyable and uninterrupted by unnecessary OOC problems. This includes not making mistakes in rule enforcement like banning the wrong person or banning someone without enough evidence like in he said she said situations. A staff member also has a responsibility to take tickets this is to ensure that the server remains staffed at all times and that even the smallest of problems are dealt with so that all have a good experience while on the server. I believe that the duty of the staff is to handle rule-breakers, help out players when requested or needed, and most importantly ensure the server remains fun and immersive at all times. As a member of a real life military, I believe that structure is what bonds the community, game mode and server together like a super glue.
