I have my personal opinions on the situation; my honest answer is that I don't know what I could've done to prevent it in that instance. In the future, I can make sure I have a more thorough understanding of all global, community, and RP rules to reduce the chance of anything happening again. I've been staff in a large Star Wars RP community before, and did the usual tasks of a lower-ranking staff member: whitelisting, setting models, changing names, resolving disputes, etc. I've also witnessed some complex scenarios(clusterfucks) requiring the involvement of the highest administration in communities. Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I believe I should become a member of staff because this server actually means something to me; it's usually a good time, and when people are on, it's one of my more enjoyable hobbies. I want to do something to help others have an experience that has been as enjoyable as mine, and becoming a member of the staff team seems like a great way to accomplish that. I always abide by the rules set in place because they ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience on the server. I've been around for a while and have played this game a bit too much over the years. I've accumulated 13,000 hours, so I've seen many "interesting" scenarios go down across multiple servers, and I believe myself to be more than capable of enforcing the rules and ensuring members of the community have a good experience on Prometheus. I've interacted with the staff team a number of times and have been in a handful of sits; staff members have almost always been helpful, professional, and generally courteous. Having played 1942RP for ~5 years, and RP servers in general for ~7, combined with previous encounters with the staff team doing their jobs, and a bit of common sense, enables me to extend the same helpful treatment I've been given to others, and elevate the experiences of players in the community. Having an understandable voice of objective reason can really help when mediating disputes between players who are potentially heated after engaging in a scenario for extended periods of time. At the end of the day, we're all here to have fun and enjoy a little escape from reality. I just want to help keep the server running smoothly and make sure people enjoy their time here as much as I have. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: The main duties of staff members are responding to tickets for small tasks, such as name and model changes. In my mind, that makes up the bulk of staff work. The rest is making sits with players and dealing with infractions of the rules and mediating disputes that arise as a result of them being broken. Another aspect of staff is responding to tickets on your staff character promptly. Your staff character should take priority over your RP character, especially if tickets start to pile up. When players have to wait ages for someone to take their ticket, it reflects poorly on the staff team and Prometheus. Staff members should also conduct themselves in a manner that properly represents the values of Prometheus Networks. They should act in a way that’s respectful and unbiased towards players. Additionally, the staff team can be another resource for payers to use. New players can consult staff for clarification or further explanation of any rules, or just for advice on how something typically goes within the dynamics of the server. For a brand new player, everything on Prometheus can be overwhelming, and just standing around participating without understanding the deeper meaning of what's going on between the factions and politics that drive this server leaves out a major part of the experience we try to provide. The Fieldmarshall was asking why I was standing by him with my gun out and I explained I am his guard detail, he then told me to get back up, which I did. Then he had me dragged out of the court house and had me PKed. Why should you be un-PK'd?: I should be un-Pk'd because one I was doing my job and securing The Party Tribunal. I also was also complying with the orders given to my character and moved back when he had a member of his military arrested and didn't even allow the proper channels (Party Courts) to deal with the situation. I think the idea of something like this would be cool. Considering the anti-establishment riots that happened recently, an organization like this could piggyback off of it fairly well if done right. Like making this organization a "Germany First" type of group, where the members want to get out of the current war and focus on rebuilding Germany. But this faction or organization could be a really interesting political group that could start a lot of drama; however, I don't think it needs an application for you to do it. If you want to start your own underground political movement, you could totally do it without making an application, and just get people from different factions to join you to try to bring about change, as you mentioned previously, by getting costs lowered. I feel like you could have a pretty big populist movement within the enlisted corps of most organizations on the server if you did some speeches or some organizing to get your message and ideas out there. But overall, I'm neutral on this application. I feel like it could have a lot more to it and needs some more people to really get off the ground.

I miss being trusted, bring it back! It's so common to be sitting there with a recruit while staff are either rping or dealing with serious rp situations. Let's be honest, in order to become staff, you often have to be a known member of the community. How do people achieve being known you may ask? Well, that's usually through having some sort of high ranking or important character. When the daily civil war hits, these people need to be in the city for rp to flow, so that leaves a hole in the staff team, hence why the server has ticket issues later in the day. It's a nice luxury to have a trusted person near you in order to set up your recruit or promote a person. Honestly just having trusted to recruit people into factions is enough of a help. Maybe bring back trusted, but they can't promote and only recruit?
