I miss being trusted, bring it back! It's so common to be sitting there with a recruit while staff are either rping or dealing with serious rp situations. Let's be honest, in order to become staff, you often have to be a known member of the community. How do people achieve being known you may ask? Well, that's usually through having some sort of high ranking or important character. When the daily civil war hits, these people need to be in the city for rp to flow, so that leaves a hole in the staff team, hence why the server has ticket issues later in the day. It's a nice luxury to have a trusted person near you in order to set up your recruit or promote a person. Honestly just having trusted to recruit people into factions is enough of a help. Maybe bring back trusted, but they can't promote and only recruit?

Something someone else mentioned was it could have been a legit document when I stole it, but could have gotten nuked. Again, when I tried to open it before I never waited long enough for it to load, so I saw the empty box and thought it was just an rp thing.

I understand. It truly wasn't my intention to do degenerate stuff. Some mercy just this one time would really be appreciated.

It was literally named "Woldorf STRENG GEHEIM Doctrine." I was tricked thinking it was something valuable with it being labeled "Top Secret". Something that should be noted is that I started playing on Prom again a couple weeks ago, before that i'd been gone for months. So whenever this new feature to add documents to the game was announced, I missed it. I saw something I'd never seen before labeled "Top Secret" and I grabbed it, then forgot about it later.

Well realistically it's not illegal in game. Homosexuality is legal as well. It's not N@zi Germany anymore. Shooting someone for carrying explicit material is pretty wild Gary. I understand you see me as a minge, I get it really, and I'm not upset. I just want you to understand that I actually took that character seriously (while still having fun here and there). It was a very popular character that's been around for over a year I believe. It's a shame you saw only the bad side.

I stole that off of someone's inventory and didn't know it was connected to a google doc. I never waited the 10 seconds for it to load, so that wasn't on purpose. This isn't a good reason to just shoot someone.

Why should you be un-PK'd?: There was no attempt to resolve the situation using any other means. I simply reached into his pockets (Which IC I justified by saying I was making sure he wasn't stealing anything from the building he was just kicked out from), and shouted to a lower enlisted on the street that the man taking me ordered his detainment and to run. Then *bam* shot in the head in an office. There were plenty of ways to resolve this situation, such as cutting off my fingers so I can never reach into someone's pockets again, or cutting out my tongue so I can never tell a soldier he's going to be arrested. Maybe even beating me up or making me do document after document until they catch me on someone that they can get me killed or tried for. I feel like if Gary wasn't UA and any other joe schmo pulled me into an office and tried to pk a high ranking NCO for reaching into his pockets, that would be shot down. here was basically no RP in this whole situation, this is a very bad example of a proper pk. 4. Attempt to resolve the matter using other means which don't involve PKing first, unless it is deemed impossible, and agreed upon by the approving staff member. I mean... It would provide ways for civs to make money that isn't mindless producing drugs for hours or having a poop store. Would also give crime family's / criminal syndicates something to do. I think if it was flushed out, it could be a good addition to the server. We always need more RP events. +1
