Just joined server was having problems with audio playing through screen so I could not hear anything. I was running around and got pulled in by an admin and I put in chat hello, but I could not hear a word he was saying and before I could let him know I couldn't hear I was banned for VDM..... I was brand new to the server and had no time to possibly drive a vehicle. Audio is fixed though now.

Hey, I've been noticing a lot of people recently have been applying for staff without the help of a staff member. It's always good to have someone you can talk to about your application for advice and better chance at being accepted. I'm making this thread as a way for staff members on the recruitment team to find more people as well as members who wish to find a staff member to help with their application. Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: Well, considering that "annoying voice" isn't against server rules or even if it was it didn't warrant a ban, he could've easily gagged/muted me as a resolution and not just immediately ban me for 2 weeks. I feel personally I should not be banned for this, as one from my knowledge an annoying voice isn't against server rules plus what warrants an annoying voice is personal opinion and even it would definitely not warrant a 2 week ban, at most like a one day mute/gag. Description of the idea: Changing / Rebranding Herion to a more accurate representation of what it would be in the Time Period. Why should this be added?: After doing a bit of research, I found that opium, I think, would be a better fit for the server than heroin. I found several reasons, which will be listed below, but one of the most major ones, I believe, is the continuity of "opium dens." These were extremely common in the early to late 19th century, and I believe it would make a lot of sense for it to be switched to opium. Opium Dens: This would open up the possibility for semi-historical accurate opium dens - Typically run by Chinese or asian families and or crime organizations. This would be a great fit for the already popular Asian LARP made popular by Tiny Tokoyo and Tiny China. Cultural Use: Opium had a deep history in various parts of the world, especially the East. In contrast, heroin was relatively new and mostly unknown in Europe’s underground drug scenes by this time. Abundance & Availability: In the 1930s-40s, opium was likely still more abundant in Europe than heroin, though heroin was becoming more common in certain circles. Opium's historical trade networks and the fact that it was still used for medicinal purposes meant it had a more significant presence. What negatives could this have?: More work for the Developers to rewrite the name of the drug, as well as the Governing body of LARP having to rewrite their documents to incorporate the changing of the name - I don't feel as though the models need to be changed at all. Additional information: I believe this would be a simple but very Important detail that would overall really improve and immerse the player within the universe we are trying to create.
