Hiya, I am the staff member who issued the permanent kill (PK) on your character. I want to thank you for your apology regarding your actions, however, PKs are an in-character punishment applied when roleplay has been significantly undermined or broken. They are not the same as ban appeals. You cannot have a PK removed simply by apologizing. Instead, you dispute the evidence or circumstances if you believe the PK was unjustified or unnecessary. During this event, you opened fire and were subsequently killed. Please understand that PKs are applied to reinforce the rules and to emphasize that every action taken in character carries weight and lasting consequences.

Neutral I didn't recommend you asked me if you could apply for staff and I respond "yes". While you do have potential there...a couple of things you lack too.

This is -- comical.

I mean this respectfully, but you were actively killing military and non-military personal to the point the military the own faction which your character was apart of made a ticket on you for RDM/PK. When I confronted you on what was going on you proceeded to call me a slurry of rude names even when I was actively to specifically hear your side of the situation. It was so bad to the point someone broke character to tell you to stop being rude to the person trying to assist you which is absolutely astonishing. After being told to stop you immediately killed someone for literally no reason. Which culminated in Elite bringing you to a sit with 2 others.

Since realizing I don’t have enough of a presence in the community, I’ve been a lot more active in roleplay and various scenarios, being involved in two civil wars (which truly has been more fun than I expected), actively participating/attending meetings (primarily on my PSD char), and doing my own part in standing out from other players (opening my own business, and overall doing little things to make my characters unique and more realistic). I love interacting with everyone and I try my absolute best to educate and be a good role model for newer players on the server as well as people I recruit. Usually, someone thinks the server is full of people that “cannot see” and when I have recruited them I speak to them to clarify what the server actually is to avoid confusion. Yes, initially they have told me they came to minge on the server but ended up liking the people around them or realizing the servers are completely different from what they had thought. There are also the strange cases of minges, which personally I’ve learned how to weed out via recruiting, how they respond to commands, and even the first presentation. In the past 30 days, I have had a lot of time to expand my understanding specifically of confusing rules (particularly the pk rules) which from my knowledge can vary depending on encounters (which can be super complex without any understanding). During “minge hours” (~3-4am EST) I usually ask active staff questions on certain topics and discuss specific rules and how they apply in situations. I’ve also talked to them about previous instances they had to deal with and how to properly react to said instances. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: Recently I discovered numerous responsibilities that a staff member must have. Everyone knows the basics (i.e; handling tickets) but, I believe there's a lot more to it. Since a few of my friends were previous staff/are staff, I tend to hear them discussing specifics like quotas, how to handle certain tickets like pk tickets, and how staff approved pks work. The only clarification I would probably need is how to change the models when someone opens a ticket for someone joining a faction as well as how the name change process works. I feel that understanding rules that confuse me could better help and explain certain situations where a person might find themselves in. As a member of staff, I feel that it’s my responsibility to make sure that the server is not an annoyance for the players, and that every aspect of the server runs as smoothly as possible while also being able to educate new players; as well as giving an unbiased judgement to people who have broken the rules.
