If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Nope Staff Knowledge Section What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?: Nope Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: After my prior rejection, I feel I learned a lot more about how the server works as well as getting to know more people. Since realizing I don’t have enough of a presence in the community, I’ve been a lot more active in roleplay and various scenarios, being involved in two civil wars (which truly has been more fun than I expected), actively participating/attending meetings (primarily on my PSD char), and doing my own part in standing out from other players (opening my own business, and overall doing little things to make my characters unique and more realistic). I love interacting with everyone and I try my absolute best to educate and be a good role model for newer players on the server as well as people I recruit. Usually, someone thinks the server is full of people that “cannot see” and when I have recruited them I speak to them to clarify what the server actually is to avoid confusion. Yes, initially they have told me they came to minge on the server but ended up liking the people around them or realizing the servers are completely different from what they had thought. There are also the strange cases of minges, which personally I’ve learned how to weed out via recruiting, how they respond to commands, and even the first presentation. In the past 30 days, I have had a lot of time to expand my understanding specifically of confusing rules (particularly the pk rules) which from my knowledge can vary depending on encounters (which can be super complex without any understanding). During “minge hours” (~3-4am EST) I usually ask active staff questions on certain topics and discuss specific rules and how they apply in situations. I’ve also talked to them about previous instances they had to deal with and how to properly react to said instances. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: Recently I discovered numerous responsibilities that a staff member must have. Everyone knows the basics (i.e; handling tickets) but, I believe there's a lot more to it. Since a few of my friends were previous staff/are staff, I tend to hear them discussing specifics like quotas, how to handle certain tickets like pk tickets, and how staff approved pks work. The only clarification I would probably need is how to change the models when someone opens a ticket for someone joining a faction as well as how the name change process works. I feel that understanding rules that confuse me could better help and explain certain situations where a person might find themselves in. As a member of staff, I feel that it’s my responsibility to make sure that the server is not an annoyance for the players, and that every aspect of the server runs as smoothly as possible while also being able to educate new players; as well as giving an unbiased judgement to people who have broken the rules.

N/A Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: I know that I would be a good asset and valuable addition to the Prometheus staff team, due to previous staff knowledge and experience, such as adherence to the rules, and how to educate others on confusing concepts within the rules. I myself at one point struggled with certain concepts due to misunderstanding or not understanding them at all, as some rules can have a 50/50 split on how a situation should or can be handled. In roleplay, various kinds of people exist, some with interesting quirks that can’t be physically expressed due to varying vocal ranges, thus the need for voice modifiers or voice-altering software that can be used to better immerse themselves and others via roleplay means. Rule 37 within the Imperial rules does list various types of soundboards and voice modifiers that are allowed; however, it fails to mention the allowance of voice changers, which I personally feel can cause a bit of confusion for some. Though this is only a dull example, there are always holes a person will try to find in specific rules; and I feel that my job would be to perfectly clarify the rules in order to avoid any instance of misinterpretation or technicalities. When dealing with disturbances, I often notice how some people struggle to find an effective answer or even formulate an answer at all; there’s never a solution to every issue, but there are always compromises and temporary answers until an effective response or solution can be found. In the past, I’ve had to deal with tricky situations between two people, both of whom I empathized with. For a moment, there was hesitation and confusion; however, Person A ended up breaking a rule, one which they were aware of, and as staff, regardless of my personal opinion, I had to ban the person. * SORRY FOR GRAMMATICAL ERRORS I'M STILL WORKING ON THEM * What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: Being staff consists of a lot of micro-managing, making sure to answer tickets at a respectable rate, logging the tickets taken, enforcing global rules, and overall making sure everyone on the server is relatively happy. As staff I would have a more hands-on role in paying attention to the forums, and overall setting a good example of how someone in the server should behave. Having served on a staff team before though it's not directly apparent the way mods/admins/owners act does directly affect how members of the community will behave. That being said, I feel that being the person you wish to see on the server is how one should act as staff. Hence adhering to the rules, upholding roleplay/character immersion, and completely tossing out minging even in the later hours is a must. Tickets are also of high importance as staff enforcing the rules can be just as important as keeping 1 person who continuously breaks the rules but maintains activity as it's that one person vs a group of people who could probably have their immersion ruined by interacting with said person. I wanted to address recent actions in breaking FearRP, I had no intention of interrupting the flow of the roleplay I recognize that this was inappropriate. I didn't realize it was a serious RP situation if so, I wouldn't have done it in the first place. Before the interaction everyone in the area excluding myself seemed to be minging, I assumed the inquisitor wasn't serious as he or at least the people around him seemed to be laughing while talking to me. I will extensively reread rules to make sure to make sure this never happens again. Additional Information: I'm fairly new to the server and this is my first time being a CO as well as being pk'd
