Description of the idea: To reduce advertisement cost to 50-200 DM Why should this be added?: I, like many other players, cannot dish out 3,000 DM for things as casual as a regular business advertisement, or a meeting request for an official that might not even see the advert, and from what I heard, this cost is thanks to a retard saying something unimagineably stupid. I would suggest returning the price to normal and taking to creating a blacklist system for advertisements if anybody abuses them. Please, not everybody can spend 3k every time they want to make a public request, statement or general advertisement. What negatives could this have?: Of course there will be a jump in retards saying stupid shit, but that's where you punish THEM with an actual blacklist, and not limit the entire server's capacity to communicate ICly. For example, if I need the audience of the MoJ and he might not even be in the server, I'm completely screwed out of 3,000 DM. If I wanted to advertise my business, I'd probably spend more than I earn from it relative to one advertisement. If anybody wants to call me, as I am both a judge and a lawyer, they'd have to spend more than my charging rate as a lawyer to do so. Additional information: N/A

Note; Civilians would not be restricted from mugging/kidnapping any faction, however the conditions under which they can mug/kidnap anybody remain the same; the target must not be in a safezone, a spawn, in front of a vending NPC or ranked Captain+ (without approval)

Description of the idea: Disallow mugging as government on civilians, or from among their own branches, unless there is personal IC reasoning to do so. This can include the knowledge of possession of valuables, the ongoing search for somebody who is wanted, somebody from a faction which is actively looking for the mugger, or somebody who the mugger knows has wronged them specifically. A more elaborate example of this type of mugging with IC reason to do so, would be if the Generalfeldmarshall declared the MOI an enemy, and had a coup, because they put a warrant out for him. A group of grenadiers might go out on patrol, and see a pair of MOI officers taking a walk down the street. This would be the ideal situation where there is true incentive to mug, without necessarily being unfair. They could kidnap and then strip these officers of their goods, and then do from there what they wanted with them, leaving them in the river or taking them to the ICC for processing. Either way, the goods are theirs, and their superiors will be happy with their work. Also, disallow kidnapping or mugging of Captain+ without UA/GA approval. These individuals should be considered at least somewhat guarded in a realistic situation. It would be pretty annoying if a group of civilians could just kidnap any lone general or minister on a walk. If the general/minister has anybody accompanying them, they may not be mugged either. Also, disallow kidnapping entirely when in designated public spaces or in front of NPCs. This gives true safezones from mugging and allows players to actually converse or hold congregation in safe places. It should not be possible to drag somebody from the Reichstag all the way to behind the bank or in the alley in order to take their stuff. Also, disallow mugging or kidnapping people from their faction spawns except if there is a warrant for that individual's arrest or you had personal business with them that involves you obtaining custody of said person. IF IMPLEMENTED This idea would make it impossible to mug in the immediate view of vending NPCs and all locations considered broad daylight. The following are considered; ICC (Border area), MOI (Outside), Reichstag (Outside, Garden+Fountain), Gas Station, Hospital (Outside), Bank, Casino (unless closed), OB, Landespolizei station (Outside) THIS PROTECTION WOULD NOT APPLY IF THE TARGET OF THE MUGGING/KIDNAPPING HAS RUN TO THESE AREAS FOR PROTECTION FROM SUCH AN EVENT THAT WAS IMMINENT, UNLESS FEARRP WAS NOT ESTABLISHED BEFOREHAND Why should this be added?: Civilians will generally have no method of defending themselves, aside from tediously obtaining a license for a gun or going through the grind to get one illegally. They will also not typically have the manpower to defend themselves from a group of unfair or corrupt police looking for a score. What negatives could this have?: It will remove the dynamic of being able to mug on the spot whoever they feel like, but this is necessary for it to actually be tolerable and not having to watch your back for literally any group of people. Additional information: Perhaps it was just in my experience, but today (3/7/2023) I was kidnapped three times on one character, twice within less than half an hour. I had the rules quite mixed up after a year or so of being gone and palying elsewhere, but I enjoyed the safety we were granted from other servers that scolded taking advantage of the utilitarian areas of the map (travelling zones, stations/HQs) and I believe this would make for a fantastic addition here on Prometheus.

I bent the knee backwards on this one and I apologize, I did do some incredibly stupid shit to earn a permanent ban here, and the fact that you guys put up with me for so long before that was itself commendable. I really should have let this run its course knowing what he was like, and what I resorted to was utterly braindead.

The amount of time waited since that mistake, processing and contemplating who I was dealing with, was very generous. I wouldn't wait a whole year to make a bullshit apology, I know what I lost here and I know who I'm missing. I thought long and hard, and I know where I fucked up. I seek not to fuck up again.

Should Whoreson or any other person in the community be unable to make mistakes? Am I bold to ask it be known as a mistake? Denning shouldn't have been let back here in the first place, but I was stupid to act early on defaming and spitting at the server that has been most lenient to me over the entire platform, and I'm sorry for fucking up so royally. Like I said in the beginning of this appeal, there is no pride in being wrong, only foolishness. I see that going both ways. I recall seeing Whoreson as a no bullshit kind of man himself in these situations, so I'm confident I can talk with my chest. How awful Denning was, the highest tier bullshit artist he was, I want the understanding. I have faith you'll be fair about this. The acknowledgment is essentially the agreement that I am understood and I am forgiven after the shit I did. There absolutely will not be another mistake like this.

Looking back at it, this is incredibly old stuff. That does not imply Denning has become a better person whatsoever, though, and I was pretty shocked that after the appeal I made, you guys deleted it. I didn't yet realize that the appeal included Denning's actual face in screenshots, I thought it was just a joke for somebody stupid looking. I am hoping you understand my frustration with Prometheus' management and yourself when you guys agreed to let him back in after what he did in the first place, and my confusion there combined with the deletion of my appeal for the month* ban led me to believe you guys were protecting him. I could not have been more wrong, and I was under the impression that Denning was doing something behind the scenes, like giving you guys money or something like assets in exchange to play again after all the bullshit he said and did. Unfortunately I could not find the original image for the Downfall PT. 2 thumbnail. The second image here was only a concept. We used to call him vegemite Whoreson. He conveys himself like a con artist and is more often than not a complete retard without any regard for other people if it doesn't benefit him. I did my best to keep honest about this, because the victims were personal. He said so much stupid shit about anybody he felt like After I was unbanned from the first perma, my record was virtually clean for months (If I remember correctly). I would like you to consider this strongly.

I never called Denning a hardcore pedophile, I said that he was a 35-37 year old man dating a 22 year old woman at the time he made Midified Gaming. He got jealous of me being good friends with her and his DAF leader at the time, where I got my mafia hosted. And that he blackmailed two minors. Of course, nothing like this had phased Denning whatsoever, he had come to expect it of me when I tracked him down learning of his presence in the servers I would try out.

I should expect this to be enough to prove that it was indeed a mistake, if you banning him already didn't make that clear. I never wanted this man back among the Gmod playerbase at all because of what he did. He literally lost his Australian BAR. Over what he's done. You'll come to wonder how or why I've spoken to him again, and it's because he began an independent community called Time Capsule Networks. It was going to be a rather shitty knockoff of Modified Gaming, which was shitty enough to begin with. I let him convince me that the two children he had doxxed and threatened were actually after his family, up until I realised what a drama queen this guy was when he said the atrocious shit above. There is no pride in being wrong, only foolishness; If the people I knew so well would stick by you or in your community for so long, and I should have expected to be wrong about what I thought about you and your community; however, what drove me to this level of disdain that I would nearly any rumor about you was that you had unbanned Denning, someone who had done terrible things to the people of his community. It really pissed me off, and that's what keeps this appeal labelled a "Dispute". I've got old news that you haven't yet seen about him that'll be worth a chuckle. For the time I've been gone, I've gotten the opportunity to speak with individuals involved in the scene including Birch, and I took down the video about him therefore; he's proven that at the end of the day, it was all fun and games, no weird Gmod conspiracy to take down other nutscript servers. For my last remarks, I've also been unable to scrounge up much of anything about Prometheus, and nothing consistent either. I've got an apology for you, where I've treated the community as if it were an abomination for all this time. Truth is, I may not have gotten what I deserved, but I got what I should have expected. The reason this hasn't come any sooner is because I was so confident, but now all I want is the acknowledgement that unbanning Denning was a mistake. Especially for what I'm about to put down.
