Lately Prometheus has been a big part of my schedule. I have gotten on everyday to play but also interact with everyone as I have been appreciating the atmosphere and unique roleplay. [150 Words or more]: As a staff member there might be many things you will have to do, here are some of my general objectives: General Duties General duties of being a staff member include taking sits, Punishing players, changing models and faction transfers, and moderating Roleplay situations so that no one is breaking the rules. Handing out punishments for players who are breaking the rules are important, but there can be nuance to certain situations. When there is someone who is RDMing. It is usually a clear and cut case. But when someone is being accused of breaking the rules during an important and complicated roleplay scenario, it's important that staff take their time with it. This usually means collecting Recorded gameplay, speaking to both parties or witnesses, and checking logs, then deliberating. At the end of the day it's important to be 100% unbiased and rule just from the evidence that is being presented Decorum and Professionalism Decorum and Professionalism is particularly important. What the word decorum means to me is how someone carries themselves day to day and how they are perceived. When being professional with how you interact with players it’s important to stay very calm. As well as speaking clearly and formally, and not being emotional and not taking the situation personally. Professionalism can also be something as simple as writing with proper syntax and grammar or pronouncing words correctly. Being A role model As a Staff member, you are constantly a role model to players. It's important to behave the same way you would want a player to behave, as well as treat players the same way you would like to be treated. This means building a reputation of being a fair staff member, and someone who players want to have their ticket taken is important too.

Why do you deserve to be unbanned? I believe I deserve to be unbanned because I’ve taken the past four months to reflect on my actions. I understand the importance of upholding community standards, and I’ve learned from this experience. Before this incident, I consistently made an effort to contribute positively. As both a regular player and a CO/NCO, I was very active on the server. As a good example of my previous behavior, I had a clean record with no bans, warnings, kicks, or sits. I’ve always taken pride in following the rules and supporting the community in any way I could. This situation was out of character for me, and I recognize what led to the ban. I agree it wasn't very funny, and I also would have willingly provided the clip of what happened leading up to the ban myself if asked, as I have nothing to hide. I would like to appeal my permanent ban from Prometheus and to clarify and hopefully explain the situation, Leading up to my ban, I repeated the beginning part of a song after hearing someone else sing the beginning nearby, The start of the song in question was a play on words referencing the popular video game Minecraft and miners (as in those who work in mines and mining) not minors. I understand that repeating this kind of song even though it was said in jest and not meant to be harmful, is inappropriate in a public server considering its lyrics. And that it is in poor taste and choice. It was not directed to anyone in specific and it was not my intention to violate the server’s rules. I think that I should have been more mindful of how it would be perceived. Since returning from a break due to real-life obligations. I have been an active and dedicated player on the server. Before my absence, I also played regularly and held the rank of Commanding Officer. Currently I’m a Non Commanding Officer. I have always tried to follow the rules and be a good influence in the community as I did not nor ever have had any prior mutes, warnings, kicks, bans or sits against me, and I care about the experience and role-play.
