Basic Information Section
IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format: Polizeihauptmeister George Ménard: a landespolizei officer apart of the Special tactics group guarding detachment, on this character I spend most of my time guarding important landespolizei individuals such as the police president, escorting him, protecting him while in his officer or in meetings. When not on guard duties I spend time patrolling Berlin and upkeeping the laws on the road and in general. I will handle arrest warrants and if needed high risk situations meant for the special tactics group.
Leutnant zur See Julius Romm: On this character I spend my time leading the 43. Marineunterstutzungsregiment ‘’Donnerkuppel’’ as the chief of it, I am tasked with ensuring my men are always in proper behaviour and up to their duties, I will attend some meetings along the chief of the Kaiserliches Marine to report on my department's activities and status of our work.
Amtmann James Lannister: I am a judge of the ministry of justice apart of the Kammergericht, where I will take court cases presented to me by landespolizei or other faction members, I spend time on this character only when there is a richter required for a court trial and they need a arrested individual to be given a fair trial to determine their innocence or guilt for a crime.
How long have you been roleplaying?: I have been in the 42rp community for around 5 years, I started out with werewolf gaming and old Typhon Networks back in the day, I actively play star wars roleplay as well on Icefuse networks clone wars roleplay.
Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: I have a single ban for NITRP and FailRP from 2 years ago on 2023/11/07
Staff Knowledge Section
What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode? I have a lot of knowledge and experience with staffing, as I have done it before on many servers across different gamemodes such as DarkRP 42rp werewolf gaming where I served as a Senior Moderator up until it shut down. I was a Moderator on the famous Typhon Networks for a good while, but then I left the community, and a little while after it shut down. I was a part of the Server Staff on IceFuse networks clone wars RP before leaving due to losing interest in the server as a whole. I was a member of the upper administration on Impulse HL2RP until it was shut down by the owner due to unknown reasons.
I was also a Moderator within Prometheus. I was very active at first but I had to leave for a military deployment and was gone for a long period of time (6 months) . I was home maybe once a month for a time period of a week.
Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: Well first I will start of by saying that I was within the staff team here, so I am very familiar with how the staff team works within the community, and I didn’t have any negative feedback on my performance, in fact the people were very friendly and enjoyed me handling their tickets. Another point is that I have a lot of previous staffing experience within other garry’s mod servers which also gives me better knowledge, most of the servers were on the nutscript framework which has helped me become more familiar with all the different commands and the way the framework works in general. In my previous application I explained that my timezone is quite unique and allows me to be active and handle tickets on both the server’s active hours and the less active hours, meaning that I could handle trouble even when there’s less staff members available due to the majority being from the eastern standard time zone and they would have to rest due to the a inactive hours being very late for the EST staff members. When I was a part of the staff team I was very friendly and easy to work with (I still am!) so bringing me back onto the crew will be a very great decision, I will handle tickets just as well as I did before if not even better, due to me getting older and more mature, my field of work also makes me a better and more professional person, I am apart of the military so naturally I am held to a very high standard on my behaviour and attitude. I feel like I would be a perfect fit for staff because I feel that I can handle and have before given out fair unbiased staff judgements and punishments to players before. I also did not get any staff strikes while on the staff team prior.
What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: The job of a moderator is simple, a moderator is tasked with upkeeping the rules within the player base and issuing unbiased verdicts on tickets to the best of their ability, I was a part of the staff team so I know the job inside and out, I was overlooking the player base and ensuring that all troublemakers and players that could cause harm to others and the community were kept out of the server, I handled tickets for different situations such as simple requests to set up a recruit of transferee for a faction, and handling more serious cases such as players causing trouble whether by RDMing, VDMing, serious verbal threats like doxxing threats, threats to the server such as threatening to DDOS the server. And upkeeping the chat and voice chat for players that would for example be using racial slurs or other unacceptable slurs to harass others. Your job as a moderator is to be there for the players to assist them with any concerns or issues they may have with technical difficulties or problems with another player. As a moderator I will be often faced with friendly and unfriendly players who are there to just cause harm and trouble to the server and its players, I will be responsible for ensuring players always get the best assistance and answers they can get. A staff member is an example to everyone and should help to upkeep a good representation of the community, they are entrusted to behave professionally and maturely for the player base to take example from on how the rules should be followed and to be friendly and helpful to one another since this is a game and everyone should be able to enjoy their time on the server and have fun and interesting roleplay.
