First, I have a decent amount of staff experience across different servers, and I believe the experience I have gained there would help me become a stronger staff member here. I am also a dedicated member of both the community and the server, and I genuinely want to help improve the experience for everyone. I have learned from the mistakes I have made in the past. Since then, I have taken the time to reread the rules and make sure I understand them fully, while also clarifying anything I am unsure about. I am willing to put in the work and perform my responsibilities to the best of my ability. The hours I am normally online also coincide with times when I feel the server could benefit from more active staff. I am willing to step up, take responsibility, and be part of the change I want to see within the community. I also believe I am mature enough to handle the responsibilities that come with being a staff member. Through my previous staff experiences, I have learned discipline, patience, and composure. I believe these qualities would transfer well to this staff team, especially when dealing with heated situations. I would make sure to handle tickets and situations fairly and professionally. [150 Words or more]: The duties and responsibilities of a Moderator go beyond simply disciplining members who break the server rules. A Moderator should also be someone newer players can turn to for help and guidance when they are unfamiliar with the server or its rules. Moderators are also responsible for handling OOC situations such as RDM, MRDM, NITRP, and other rule violations. It can sometimes be difficult to determine when staff intervention is necessary and when a situation should be left alone so that the roleplay can continue naturally. A good Moderator needs to be able to make that judgment while keeping the best interest of the server and its roleplay in mind. Another important responsibility is maintaining the overall quality and standards of the server. Staff should ensure that players are actually roleplaying and not turning Prometheus into a DarkRP-style server. The goal is to preserve the roleplay environment and standards that the server has always been known for. Staff should also make sure players are here to participate in roleplay rather than simply minge or disrupt others, and when necessary, take appropriate action against those who repeatedly do so. Lastly, staff members should help protect the community from players who repeatedly harass or target others without any legitimate roleplay intent. I have taken a lot of time to re read through the rules and make sure I clarify all of my questions. I will do the work to the best of my abilities. The hours I play also fall in a time that I feel needs more staff and I am willing to step up and be the change I want to see. I also feel I am mature enough to handle the responsibility. [150 Words or more]: So the Duties and responsibilities of a Moderator is to not only discipline the members of community break server rules but it's also to be there to give a helping hand to some of the newer players of the server. further more some of the duties are to deal with OOC things such as RDM, MRDM, NITRP and more so it's a very tedious job to know when to step in and intervene and when to let the Roleplay keep going. as well some responsibilities are to ensure people are roleplaying and not turning Prometheus into a Dark rp server and making sure it's still held to the standard it's always been and will be. adding to that it's the staff members responsibilities to ensure people are on the server to roleplay and not minge around and if they decide to do that to carry out some punishment against them.
