Basic Information Section

IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities in a list format:

Gruppenleiter Wolff Reiner: He is the deputy chief of the Rose guard. His daily duties include close protection to the Consul, Vice consul, district leader and other members of GPA command and assisting in the training  of new members into the guard. 

Haptfeldwebel Reiner Hertzog: An NCO within the Kaisergarde, his job is recruitment into the kaisergarde ranks and making sure new NCOs and enlisted know what their duties are and what is expected of them moving forward. His other duties include protection of the Pantheon and the members who reside inside and guarding important meetings such as the federal council meeting when required. 

How long have you been roleplaying?:
Ive been roleplaying since 2016 and have been apart of Prometheus since 2020.

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?:
I received a permanent ban during the end of February but I was given another chance. To prevent that ban I would have simply not MRDM to try to make a few friends laugh at the time. I have corrected this behaviour by formally apologising and promised it will not happen again. I have one note for RDM I believe in 2024 for shooting a lapo member. I have had no notes or bans since the situation in February.

What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?
I currently do not have any staff experience on either Gmod or the nutscript gamemode but I am applying so I can get that experience and learn how to do the job correctly. 

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: 
The reason I want my application to be accepted and join the staff steam team is because I am always open to any form of feedback and criticisms about myself or the way I handle things. I am willing to listen and learn to do my job to the best of my ability and improve myself in areas that may be lacking. A good staff member should be able to inform and correct players of undesirable behaviour and assist them in understanding the rules better so everyone involved may have a more pleasant and welcoming roleplay experience. I wish to to join the staff team to help with tickets during peak hours and times with lower player counts, as a European player myself, it will be easier for me to assist during the "minge hours". I have been a member of the community since 2020 and have been an active member since then.

I believe I have characteristics beneficial to the staff team, such as, being able to connect better with players and find solutions to problems a player may have. A good staff member should be able to talk calmly to an individual to get to the root of an issue and rather than jumping straight to a punishment, inform and educate the person instead. I am a person who likes to forgive and give a second chance to people who genuinely do not understand something and can be firm with those players who intentionally disrupt roleplay and ruin the experience for others. I believe I have a good grasp of most servers rules to help me enforce them and achieve this goal.  A member of the staff team should be both, Approachable and friendly to everyone they encounter, Some players may have had negative interactions with members of staff in the past and I would like to change that and hopefully encourage others to apply to join in the future. 

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:
A staff member is required to get a certain amount of tickets per week, which I believe is roughly 30 tickets and will be warned and/or punished if not reaching this quota. Staff members must remain professional and respectful to every member of the community so they are able to maintain good community relations with the players. Part of this role is to make sure that the roleplay and community remains fair and fun for everybody and educate, inform and potentially punish if the situation deems it necessary. My job may also entail answering support tickets where a player might have a simple rule or roleplay question that they need clarification on or addressing any  rule violations. Our job is to be calm, respectful and patient towards all players, new and old, who may need us. I understand upholding all these values both in character and out is the utmost important and that my actions reflect not only upon myself but the whole team. Members of staff are the example for all community members to follow and should act accordingly.
