Oberst Jenkins Altmannberg: A 91 year old man who is serving in the Reserve Army as the Deputy Chief. He is highly decorated, and could possible suffer from Alzheimer's.

Grenadier Jenkins Vanlooper: A 95 year old man in the Kaisergarde. We would be homeless, smells like sewage, has dirty knatted hair, and would carry cleaning materials. 

Gehilfe Schmidty Heinzbach: Member of the Ministry of Procurements. I'll let his description tell you all you need to know,

Obergrenadier Dean Edward Schnitzlenpeen: A member of the kaisergarde who was illegally transferred from the kg to the Panzers, then attempted to assassinate the War Marshall. Somehow (despite doing it) was found innocent in court and got away with the crime. He is not part of the Panzers, and trying to find a solid job. 

Gefreiter Ahmed Ra Al-Baghdadi: A muslim serving in the KG. He can be found praying with his men to allah or training to slaughter infidels. Mixed Race. 

Eric Carter. A man with a skull-engraved Bronze ring on his left finger. Enough said...

Polizeianwärter Chao Fah Chatchai: A member of the police. He is an immigrant from Thailand (Siam) and is half Thai, half German. 

Chris Gator: A bald, pale drug addict who has "zombie-like" features. Will often break into government buildings and set up a homeless tent to sleep at night.

How long have you been roleplaying?: Many years. My oldest Gmod achievement is in January 2016, which would make me 12 at the time. So year for a while.  
 

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: Not for a long time. I can't see my notes history, but I don't think I have any this year.

What previous experience so you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?

I've been staff on a couple small gmod servers, mainly DarkRP. I don't remember the name of them, so it doesn't really matter much.

Head Admin on Goliad Gaming: I was the 3rd highest staff member on Goliad Gaming Revolutionary War RP for around a year or so. Eventually I got perma banned for some stupid shit, but came back a year later, then was ad admin for another year and a'half after I got unbanned. I was in a Zuthar13 video, and I banned him. This was so many years ago, I was probably 13 or something. 

Admin on Typhon Networks: Admin on Typhon, was also Trusted. Not much to say about it.

Admin & Gamemaster on Prometheus Networks: I can't remember if I was an admin on Prom once or twice as I tend to get it mixed up with Typhon as the servers are so similar.  I was an admin at the same time @Viruswas, so imagine if I stuck with the community all this time? I'd probably be a high ranking UA member lol.
 

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]:

I have a shit ton of experience on this server and the community since I've been playing back since Kevin Goldbergstein was the owner of Typhon. I couldn't give an exact amount of time that i've played 1942 rp, but I have 6.3k hours in gmod, so it's a sad amount. I know how to RP, and try to rp differently than the usual as a way to spice things up. Hence why I rp as an old man and speak like an old man, or do a homeless drug addict so the Lapo can brutalise and arrest me. Ultimately, I try to create RP where I go since I know how to. 

Before Trusted was removed, I held those powers for a while and don't remember ever getting punished for abusing them. I actually used to go in OOC, find people who needed help, and drive across the city to set up recruits or promote people before I was staff as a way to help. Staff at that time wasn't good and barely took tickets (1-2 years ago), so people would complain in ooc about their enlisted soldiers promotion taking forever. I would literally tell the person to meet me at the gate of their building, and would drive over to change the soldiers rank. People really appreciated this, and it was a big part in me becoming staff later. I feel like i've proven my trustworthiness from my previous time as staff and trusted. 

Even after becoming staff, I still used the Trusted commands. /charsetmodel @ (string), /charsetname @, /charsetfaction mil, etc. I honestly hate the staff stick, and barely used it unless I was doing something very specific. I would also bind my up arrow to !grabid @ and my left arrow to !freeze @. These commands worked pretty good for me the few times I was staff, so I plan to keep doing it. Honestly I could start day one. 

Now, i'm not disrespecting our current staff team, they're great, but a big issue affects the servers staff team. Allow the following image to demonstrate...




As you can see from above, this is the cycle of becoming staff. A person gets promoted to a high job, which means they get known by the staff team and the community. Said person then applies for staff, and probably gets accepted. The issue is that the person still has their high ranking larp character, and their character is required for RP situations to run smoothly. Can you imagine doing Civil War RP while the Ordermarshall is taking tickets? He is required to lead his faction. Staff also tend to have an easier job getting high positions as they are trusted considerably within the community. This leads to staff not taking tickets during peak hours. Not because they're lazy and don't want to, it's because they are required to be in RP. This is where I come in. I don't have any vital or important rp jobs. Honestly I have no interest in political RP due to how long i've played on these servers. I enjoy rping as an old man, a drug addict, or a low ranking soldier who gets to shoot people during civil wars. None of these jobs are important, so I don't mind hopping off and taking tickets to keep the server running smoothly. 

I'm not claiming to have a solution to every problem the community has, i'm not a miracle worker. I'm simply saying I have more freedom during peak hours than average staff, and I could help out a bit by taking tickets during that time. I also want to be realistic with you all. I'm married, a full time student working towards my doctorate, a full time worker, and a historical reenactor. Back on Typhon, I had the overall ticket record for a while when I took 1,119 tickets in a single week. That's not something i'm capable of doing again. I don't see any problems reaching my weekly quota, but I want to be upfront about my time and availability.

As HR manager Slug will probably remember, I had an issue or two with a member or two in the community (cough cough, looking at you Saito). I wasn't in a good mental state before because all I did was sit around and play  larp, I held hella grudges. Now a'days, my life has meaning and I am significantly more happy in life, so I don't see myself clashing with certain people so strongly. I apologize to them for acting childish! 

I tend to view myself as independent and attempt to handle problems myself by what I think is fair. Depending on who you ask, this can be a pro or a con. Where on one hand I could handle a sit in a good way and not have to bother people for a solution, on another hand, I could handle it in a way UA doesn't like. I feel like I have a pretty good idea of what is ok and what's not, but I tend to bend the rules. For example, I remember a sit I had with a man who was RDM'd. At least at the time, we were told we weren't permitted to reimburse people for RDM. The guy asked me for his gun back, and that's what I told him, that we couldn't. He said he has no money left and pleaded for his gun. I used my admin stick and saw he only had 57 marks left on his person, so I bent the rules and gave him a pistol. I feel like as staff, we should be willing to bend the rules Juuuuuussstt a little bit to make the players experience more enjoyable. What I did was wrong by UA standards, but I felt like I did the right thing overall. 

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:
 

Staff keep the server running essentially. Stuck in a wall? Retard named Chao Vin Bing runs you over with a car and kills you? Lose your expensive gun in a war game? All of that and more involves staff handling the situation. Staff are pillars of the community, and are representatives of the community. 

It's simple. Get on, handle people's problems, and don't make the community look bad. If a new player sees a staff member going around shouting slurs, they'll think that the entire server does the same thing, which is a fair assumption to make. Staff should try to be at least semi-professional, or else they make themselves and everyone else on the server look like idiots. Staff also have a duty to take tickets during peak hours. You can't have all of the power and not use it. I would always get bothered over having 13 staff members on the server and not a single person taking tickets. 

There's honestly not much to say, it's a pretty simple and self-explanatory job. You take tickets.
