I am an active member of the community who plays on the server most days and interacts on the discords. I want to be able to help other players and improve their experience as part of this community, ensuring a positive and fair environment for all. I believe both my activity and experience on the server could ensure the demands of the staff team are fulfilled completely. I have complete confidence in my ability to hit ticket quota, as well as handle them in respectable time restraints. Within my time playing Prometheus, I have had a lot of experience with different aspects of the game, from the most basic of requests to more complicated situations needing staff involvement. I believe with my experience I can help everyone who plays on this server but most of all, with a growing female player base I feel it is important to have a female staff member who those may feel is more approachable. I believe it is important to the safety and enjoyability of the server. I enjoy learning new things and I enjoy challenges. I may not have experience in this field of work but I take new experiences in my stride. I am a very fast learner and believe I can acquire the knowledge as fast as needed. I work well individually but I also excel within a team. I would enjoy getting to learn how the staff side of things work from the current team and how I can help the community be a fair, fun, exciting place to be. Aside from normal duties, there are a few scenarios where you have to use both your better judgment, as well as common sense. More often than not, there are two members of a single ticket conflicting each other for the outcome. I believe it is a complete necessity to be able to see both sides of the story, through the lies and the truths, and be able to reach an outcome that is favorable towards the situation. What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: Firstly, a big role of the staff team is to be present on the server for players to be able to have a speedy experience with their queries. Whether it is recruiting someone into a faction, assisting with a player complaint or overseeing a scenario playing out within roleplay to ensure it adheres to the server rules. Assisting those during their time on the server contributes to a positive and fair experience while playing prometheus networks. Also, assisting in their needs in a punctual manner. I have seen all too many times, and have even experienced, players making a ticket and having to wait. I believe the punctuality of responding to tickets is one of the most important duties of staff. Another duty of the staff team is being active on the forums and in the discord. Assisting those where needed on the forums or discord is huge to player experience although it is not ‘in character’. OOC matters can affect a players experience just as much as in character and ensuring that these channels of communication remain safe and friendly for all is just as important as IC matters. As you can hear there is a lot of chatter in the RS and over the radio. I was not aware I was being detained until they were shouting 'Vincent' as people were running around after different people and orders being given over the radio. When I was in the admin sit having the PK carried out, I was informed that I was being PK'd for breaking fearRP as Vincent radio'd in after being told not to. As you can see in my clip, sly (who made the ticket for my PK) said to 'stop moving, do not use radio' twice in chat before Vincent's detainment was even being carried out and well before he even was involved in the detainment. He was pointing a weapon at someone else in the background of the clip before he ran over and pointed a weapon at me just before Vincent was shot and killed by someone who I believe was not directly involved in the situation. No one in that situation told Vincent to not radio in under fearRP. As you can also see in the clip, I was complying with the detainment, not resisting arrest or presenting a weapon. If I had have been told by someone pointing weapons at me, I would never have radio'd in and broke fearRP. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal. Additional Information:

I can give you the witness statement I gave them. I did not rat at all, I simply explained that the war courts had not yet been asked to investigate or prosecute him.

I understand. I believe I didn't make the circumstances clear enough in my original statement. So I believe that the grounds of this PK being accepted is that my character 'had given the NSB information' about this individual. While my character did stupidly sign an informant agreement with the NSB, It was well known throughout the military that he was a double agent. The MGD were aware of this and had been carrying out a very thorough investigation to prove that Rudolph had been a loyal double agent, not sharing any classified information or anything which could cause harm to another character, which is why he had not been sentenced to death. My character was taken into the MOI on one occasion where they tried to get him to write a statement on the individual who carried out the PK, they attempted to get a statement which would allow them to re-arrest this person and have them tried. My character never gave away any sensitive information and wrote a statement outlining his duties as an at the time assistant richter. As my character was under investigation by the MGD and unable to disclose any information to the individual who carried out the killing. The MGD has all of Rudolph's statements given to the NSB as an informant, including his very detailed witness statement to the MGD. I am unsure how the individual had this PK approved as there was no evidence of any dirt ever being given on this person. If somehow this was the case then it is fabricated evidence as Rudolph never gave dirt on anyone during his time as an informant. He worked very closely with the military to ensure the safety of everyone around him. Thank you for reading the additional information I have provided.

Character's name & rank: Oberstleutnant Rudolph von Lorenberg SteamID (STEAM_0:X:XXX): 76561198282455398 Staff member who issued the PK (if you know): Browniemeister Explain why you were PK'd: My character was PK'd under a 'Dirt PK' Why should you be un-PK'd?: I was apparently PK'd under the circumstances for Dirt, I felt as if the PK was not used as a last resort as stated in the guidelines as I was not aware of the reasoning that resulted in my death. Though my character has not been perfect, I believe I have done nothing against the individual that would constitute PK on my character. I much further believe the use of the court system, or some other means would have been far more effective as it would have proven to be more conclusive to the RP environment. I feel like more could have gone forward whether that was working with the MGD to obtain more information, or even with the NSB, however this felt rather more less provoked, especially as I have been in locked in cells nearly everyday for the last month and I have kept my mouth shut. I am more than happy to provide any statements, investigations or documents I've made in LARP to UA (I don't want to call out the individual who PK'd me or the investigations incase of metagaming) but I think this was used a easy out and/or done because someone holds a grudge against me personally. If I was Unpk'd I believe that this could have turned into a bit of a interesting situation, rather than a death which feels unjust. I am obviously a bit deflated losing Rudolph as it is the farthest position I've got since joining (President of the First Chamber) and I've made alot of progress and memories on that character, I would like to continue the story, explore new avenues of RP and continue with court larp as I started to really enjoy different aspects of the gamemode, whether that was trialing grenadiers, working with the generalmajor, working with the state and prime minister, or working with the intelligence agencies. I understand it is sometimes difficult to resume RP after a character is PK'd, but I think even classifying it as a temporary PK could be more conclusive and a bit more fun. I feel so awful for what happened

On this day I had been having a very difficult time and I hopped on the server as a distraction from what was happening in my life. When I was taken to the MOI I had been dming a friend as they were tasked with questioning me and we were laughing about how funny it was that he was assigned to me. It was then decided that I’d either be taken to trial or sign a confession. I recently had a character PK’d for a confession I signed when threatened with death (I was brand new to RP at the time and I had zero clue about the rules). The confession sat idle for about 3 weeks before I was PK’d. This made me worry as I had put so much effort into my previous characters role within the military before they were PK’d and I had been working my way back up the ranks to get back into a position where I could be aiding in the bettering of the military. I didn’t want this to happen again and I was just trying to keep my mind occupied on gmod and escape from reality momentarily, so I DM’d my friend to break me out of the MOI. I did not realise the extent of which they would go but yes, the bottom line is that I asked them to break me out. I broke the rules. I realise now how serious this is and I’d truly like to apologise to everyone involved and the fallout which followed. I was not in the right frame of mind last night to be playing gmod and I know now that I should have logged off hours before this occurred. I am truly sorry for my actions and I am learning my own limitations and when to simply just close gmod and do something else. Thank you. Additional Information:
