Why were you banned?: 

A group of players in the Interior Ministry general OOC chat started to lightly harass me and make fun of my Discord bio. We were all having a back-and-forth with insults, but it wasn’t anything too out of line. Whoreson then replied in chat, pointing out that I had a Nick Fuentes quote as a Bible verse in my Discord bio: “Nick 3:16 - A white boy in motion stays in motion.” He stated that it was vile to have that as a Bible quote, and I replied with, “If it’s so vile, then may God strike me down where I stand.” After reading this, Whoreson then stated that “we weren’t going to do this and I could go play somewhere else.” My roles were removed from the Discord but I was not kicked/banned from any of them. I didn’t realize that I was banned from the sever until the next day, when I went to join the server and it said that I had been permanently banned for “Heretical scum". 

Why do you deserve to be unbanned?: 

It has now been 5 days since I was banned, and over these last couple of days, I have thought a lot about this situation. I can understand that having that as a Bible verse is in bad taste and could be viewed as offensive to people that follow religion heavily.  I have since removed it from my Discord bio and do not plan on putting it back.

As for the comment I made to Whoreson, I want to sincerely apologize, as I did not mean any offense by my statement, and I do truly regret making it. As for why I deserve to be unbanned, other than this incident, I have had a very clean record and have never caused any major issue on the server. Additionally, I have been a contributing player on and off for many years. And if I’m given another chance, I plan on thinking before speaking and not allowing my emotions to get the best of me in the moment.

I do think I deserved a punishment for this situation,  If my punishment is not appealed directly, I at least ask for it to be made a non-permanent ban so that I may at least return to the server in the future.

I apologize for any offense that I had made and I appreciate your consideration on this matter.
