Summary: 

Wilhelm Braum has been the character I have utilized ever since I joined this server. I’ve essentially been MGD my whole time with this character and the server as a whole. Currently I am the director of the MGD.

As for daily activities. For the most part I make sure I keep my men engaged within the server and their activities as MGD. Learning from more veteran players about the server dynamics as well as mentoring my agents and learning from the more seasoned agents. Working on investigations and covert activities.

I often interact with the GOs and the rest of the senior leadership of the branches within the military as I know how valuable having good relations can be. I'd like to say I have achieved this.

I’ve also been trying to get mentored in intel war planning for quite a long time, work in progress, i’ll get there.

Summary:

 Did a little bit of civ RP with this character and starting a business with some buddies called "The Club". I’ve decided to bring him into the marine raiders as there is a nice group of people there. Doing war games, driving around the city trying to create some RP, helping the marines where needed etc.

How long have you been roleplaying?: 

I’ve been on and off various gmod rp servers for several years. I just recently got back into it due to a friend. I did play in Typhon back when that existed.

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?: No, I have not.

What previous experience do you have as a staff member either within Garry’s Mod or the Nutscript Gamemode?

 It’s been several years but I used to be a senior administrator for a HaloRP server within GMod. I could use a refresher.

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team?[300 words or more]: 

Fundamentally we are all here to have fun and I understand that. I believe I've made a decent name for myself within the military when it comes to my reputation and how I carry myself, in a positive way. I believe both my character and my experience will be a great addition to the staff team of Prometheus.

 I personally have been having a lot of fun within this community and have been asked to join the staff team. I considered it and decided I could give back to the community in this way as well as being part of a team that makes sure the server stays enjoyable and the rules are being followed.

The biggest thing I'd say would make me a good member of the staff team is the fact that I'm pretty chill when it comes down to it. I don’t just try to power trip or exercise the maximum punishment right away, unless it’s absolutely required. I’m a guy that likes to give the benefit of the doubt and second chances when applicable, making sure to see any situations that occur from the perspective of both parties and not just one to avoid bias, focusing on what happened objectively.  This in my opinion, should be how a staff member should behave as it helps maintain order within the server and the general fun that should go along with it.

I also believe it’s quite important to mentor individuals so as to assist them in knowing how to manage any situations they might encounter, whether it’s in-character, telling them how they should behave and act in certain situations, or how to perform certain activities. Or hypothetically if i was a senior member of staff, mentoring newer individuals of the staff team to make sure they are properly exerting their responsibilities and actions as members of staff.

 

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]: 

Just like I said previously, I believe the main duties and responsibilities of a staff member would be to make sure people who join the server are following the rules, as the rules are there to maintain an enjoyable environment for the player and in the grand scheme of things, the community as a whole. My job as a newer member of staff would be to make sure I meet the quota established as well as primarily learn from more senior members of staff. 

That and assisting in any situations where my position within the staff team allows me to, for example, assisting people with changing models when they require it, assisting with getting people into factions or if the situation requires an escalation, contacting more senior members of the staff team to take care of the situation. As well as education people who might not know the whole dynamics of the rules or the server as a whole
