Basic Information Section

IC Character names, ranks, and brief overview of their duties/everyday activities:

• Unteroffizier Wolfgang Meyer: previously Oberstleutnant and Chief of the 22. Infantrie battalion, later transferred to the Kaisergarde as a Stabsfeldwebel. Now he is back in the Infantry

• Grenadier Hans Weber: a man who is dedicated to his job in the protection of Berlin.

How long have you been roleplaying?:
3 months

Have you received any infractions i.e Notes/Bans? If so, what were they for and what could you have done to prevent getting them next time?:

     I have 4 previous notes:

• May 12th: RDM

• June 7th: GR 1

• July 26th: Prop Abuse

• July 28th: RDM

     Then one previous ban:

• July 12th: GR1, which was pushed to a permanent based off of an accidental alt, which I appealed.
  
  After these notes, I realized I needed to change my behavior and how I roleplayed. Since then I have learned and have been on my best behavior. As for ways I could have acted differently, I allowed myself to lash out in non-roleplay standards, which I have learned from.

None, but I am willing to learn and improve quickly.

Why do you believe we should pick you for the Prometheus Networks Staff Team? [300 words or more]:

I would be a strong addition to the Prometheus Networks staff team as I am active on the server almost every day, and I’m willing to learn. I take accountability very seriously and understand I have made mistakes in the past. I am not trying to dispute these mistakes, however I have learned from these and grown as a roleplayer and person. Furthermore, I recognize how crucial fast staff response times are to keeping roleplay running smoothly and uninterrupted. I hold a complete understanding now of the rules and guidelines, and believe I can bring them forward as a member of the staff team. Being a part of the staff team of Prometheus Networks is more than having more permissions or being able to enforce guidelines. Staff often deal with many types of situations, from questions to disputes to reports and they need to keep a cool head when it comes to these types of situations. I know that being a staff member is not just about punishing people but also about keeping things under control and making sure everyone can continue roleplaying without any issues. As a staff member, I would stay calm and collected, as every staff member should be. I would not let my friendship or knowing of the person involved to cloud my judgement. My approach is to resolve sits strictly by the rules while completely avoiding arguments. Instead of making the situation worse.  I would focus on calming most situations down and not causing unnecessary conflict, this would apply to my staff performance. I completely recognize that being a staff member means holding myself to a certain and high standard of competency, and I am ready to meet that expectation. Since my last application I have been trying my best to improve. I made mistakes recently but they were not on purpose and I have made sure not to repeat them. As staff represent the server, they are expected to have a deep understanding of the server rules and hold complete professionality. I personally believe I have improved and can be a positive addition to the staff team. I am willing to keep learning, take feedback seriously and help keep the server a fun place for everyone. Prometheus Networks is a community I want to help make even better. The Prometheus staff team is important to me and that’s why I wish to be a part of it as well as helping Prometheus continue to be as great as it has been.

What are the duties and responsibilities of the position you are applying for in your own words? [150 Words or more]:

The job of a staff member is to deal with problems in a fair way without making things worse. This means listening to people solving fights between players and making sure that rules are followed properly. Staff members are not just there to give punishment, but to also help players learn and understand the rules so they can get better at roleplaying. A staff member must know the server rules well and use them the same way every time. Their choices must be fair, not influenced by feelings and they should follow the rules set by Prometheus Networks. It is also important to be ready to help when players need something. Staff members are expected to be examples and not break the rules themselves. They should not use their powers as a staff member to portray any unprofessionalism. Also staff should be patient when working with players who are new and help make a friendly space where people can have fun with roleplaying without problems.

I would recomend him, he should be on the staff team because of his reasonableness and he knows  the prometheus rules. Great guy btw.

From the bottom of my heart, this man has genuinely improved.

I’ve known him for quite a while, and from being around him, I can confidently say that he has reflected on his past mistakes and genuinely made an effort to improve. He takes things much more seriously now and has shown real dedication toward becoming a staff member and helping the community.
