Description of the idea: The ability to 'localmute' from the leaderboard(?)

Why should this be added?: To prevent headaches after extended periods of exposure to the incomprehensible (I.E. Saint), and others unfortunate to be labeled ESL. 

What negatives could this have?: Unfortunately these people grovel themselves into semi-important positions, so maybe a hispanic General, or two, will be muted during roleplay.

Additional information: Prolonged headaches can develop into serious issues like cluster migraines, which can develop into its own sub-defects, which could probably be seizures and aneurysms. 

I see no cons to this other than people being false-flagged as ESL, though some people just sound like that.

as someone who is a career FF/PM i love the idea, especially with the possible risk of seizures and or aneurysms from prolonged exposure to it and or anyone who has already diagnosed with chronic migraines and or headaches or may have it underlying as well. (Sorry i’m a nerd for medicine) 

As a member of the staff team I’m neutral on it because at the same time that prolonged exposure needs to be constant  for many hours at a time and unless you’re in a guard position you are going to get an break from it but it can also be fixed by lowering the volume of the players headset, etc. The other con is that people who are of roleplay importance and or in a high command position and they give out orders it would ruin the roleplay immersion and possibly could cause rule breaks to happen like RDM, VDM, etc.

 

overall i think it would be cool to have as an option in the server especially if there is side roleplay going on as a main roleplay event is going on.
